If you can think of all people as being made of the same
biological stuff and having a certain 'rhythm' they live to,
and then imagine that all the information for that rhythm
is stored on an individuals virtual 'cog'.
Now if you were able to find your own cog, read it and be
able to understand and interact with it, you could then
start to appreciate how it may fit into the larger machine.
What if you want to do something 'else' with it ?
What would happen if you made a replica, and started to
research the 'occurrences' that happen when you change
the layout of 'teeth' of your cog ?
At some level the results may seem like magic, in so far as
you are actively able to make real 'changes' to your environment
and situations you encounter.
Is this 'magic' ?

Make a change by force of will - I'd say so, but the question is how? When you can answer that, then it is definately magic

Yes, that is definately magick. That is a powerful act of taking ownership of your life, and your perceived destiny (if you believe in such things). This is accepting responsibility for your actions, and being in charge of your own evolution.
