Making Friends With Your Sub-Conscious

I read an amazing technique for 'getting acquainted' with your sub-conscious mind ( http://www.robertpeterson.org/chap10.html ).

If your sub-conscience is what controls (or blocks) your psychic and magical powers, then by becoming 'friends' with it then you can train it to allow you easy access to kinesis, picking up psychic information and so on, the possibilities are endless. It's basically just opening the channels between your sub-conscious and conscious mind (something which I'm sure everyone in the occult tries to do in one way or another), but by treating the sub-conscious as if it were a separate entity, it can be used in the way a medium uses a spirit guide and can be programmed to 'talk' to you in plain english, or in images or whatever.

Has anyone tried this or does anyone have any other suggestions for opening the channels (can't think of a better word) between the sub-conscious & conscious mind?

I've been trying this technique for a couple of days and it seems to be working - my sub-conscience told me that my cabbage would taste funny - and it did! OK, not very impressive but it's a start. :lol: The only problem I have with the technique is knowing when it really is my S-C that's talking to me, and not just the usual thoughts everyone has. I'm trying to give it a male voice so I can tell the difference.

Good article.

For the longest time, I tuned out my inner voice for the same reasons as this guy. I thought that any voice I was hearing in my head was a bad sign. Once you make a connection with that part of you, great things can happen!

well ive tried to talk to my sub-concious and it seems to be okay for now as it talks to me with feelings. but i would love to be able to talk to it though!

That article is pretty interesting, but I'm afraid if I got to the point where the author is at, all I'd hear is "I want a cheeseburger," all day. I think I'm going to start practicing this though, and hope that my subconscious isn't in the mood for cheeseburgers.

Well, feelings or emotions ARE one way it talks to you, so if you've already got that then you could just try getting it to change the feelings into pictures or words for you.
