I've only spent a little time with Harba d'Moshe, but I think you'll find it helpful if you study Sefer Raziel Hamalakh, and maybe the Hekhalot, since those texts also use a lot of esoteric names and invocations. If I recall correctly, the commentary Raza d'Yetzirah, which accompanies some editions of Sefer Yetzirah, makes some points about permutation and invocation.

What edition do you have: I know several have commentaries...I take it yours either hasn't, or it isn't helpful....

I wasn't aware anyone had printed it anytime recently, by the way-- where did you come across your copy? I'd like to lay hands on a copy myself!

Seems like it's hard enough to try and figure out the nuances of something like that as it is, without trying to work out what a nineteenth-century British academic thought it ought to mean.

I tend to think translations of stuff like that are fairly useless. Either you learn the language of the magic you want to practice, or just use a fusion system, or invent a system.

But I guess I'm old-fashioned that way....

I'm not sure if you're aware of this, but the second Zodiac killer, the Hispanic copycat guy from New York? He worked with the Sword of Moses prior to killing his victims, most of which were killed with home made zipguns of various caliber.

Yeah, that'll probably give you something. Supposedly, the very long names that have ridiculously high-number gematriot can refer to the gematria of whole verses of Tanakh.....

Found a better version of the Sword of Moses with some if not all the names transliterated called "The Sword Of Moses Conjuration" on Amazon.com this Author has decoded some of the names of power and has a calling to archangel Metatron looks interesting to say the least. I have the free online copies of the sword of Moses by gaster and others Yulvari ect. This book is a must read I wondered if anyone else has this book or performed the call from this book or any other books by this Author would be interested. I am a newbie here so just looking at different books of interest.
