If you look through my poetry that I've posted here you can see that I am slightly less then 'pure of heart' though, never once have I embraced Satanism as a whole. In fact, other then a few of my poems, I've not even liked the generalized concept of Satan, though I've always known he was real (in one way or another). My poetry has been more of a 'release' for me...a way to get out my aggressions in a passive manor.
But looking at my poetry and the dates that I wrote many of them, I have a deeper knowledge then what I apparently know.
I wrote my Sinner's Promise while still more of a Christian then anything and was a way to get out my aggressions without actually hurting my pastor (though, it was my final straw and why I renounced Jesus as my savior).
Cheron was written with knowing VERY little about that entity...the poem itself is a translation that I came to while in a dream. (I dreamt I was standing near a river and 'summoned' the boat keeper. The poem was his response once arriving. I had to translate it as it was spoken in a different language.
Water I is rather spiritual for me, as least I felt at one with the gods while I wrote it and feel close to the gods every time I re-read it.
I wrote Kutulu 1 with little knowledge of the Necronomicon. I wrote it when I first met the group of individuals that have taken the Nec. And "reversed" it so that the good are the bad & the bad are the good. Once again, it was a dream that I had. Once I learned more of Cthulhu I named it after him.
My mother, when I still lived in her home, took my poetry to her minister. He told her that I just might be a high priest of Satan, so she kicked me out... While many of my friends have embraced the path, I never really have. Though, I think this has pretty much been due to me not liking what I've read in books based on the paradigm surrounding the Satanic Bible.
I think I may have found a possible home within the confines of Satanism, now that I know a bit more about it. So, if you will put up with me and my novice questions, outrageous assumptions, and incessant ramblings I am here to embrace the darkness, which is light! Allow me to grow with you...
I have read MANY things on the way of Ancient Sumer/Babylon, it's pantheon, and it's offshoots (such as Cthulhu Mythos, and the Nec.) and if there is a correlation between these and a branch of Satanism I am looking forward to finding it.... As thus far I've kept the two ideas as separate and have not bothered putting the pieces together.
I will be looking into the "Tiamatic concept of Satan/Dark Universal Energy" and once I am content in that you may be seeing more and more threads by me here asking for expansion and input to my ideals, or the theories of others as I see them.
If you have any input feel free to share it...as I am new to this part of the occult (even though I've been here fer over a decade now).

I will definitely be reading your poem material as I see it as a journey seeking truth. Most people just do not realize that Christianity and the other five major religions are but mere "STATE RELIGIONS" and have nothing to do with the real truth of humankind or what really defines what life is. State religions rely on belief, not knowledge and not results. That is the first step in religious brainwashing, "get them to accept the absurd as truth" and all other control mechanisms will fall in place! I have noticed that the most advanced Satanists/Occultists are persecuted, this is nothing new, because some people fear a loss of power if the truth ever be known.
And they mix this name with that, like Tiamat and Set are the same, they are not! Or like Satan and Lucifer are just the same names for a single being/property/force, it just isn't the reality. I could go on and on about this intentional confusion, disinformation, and misinformation, but I think I have made my point?

They are not the same...but they both are aspects and emanations of that Dark Energy

What I have found is that more than a few times I have noticed that most people have no idea that they are Satanic or even Luciferian, Others may see it though. It is one of the reason I try not mentioning Satanism or Luciferianism in my conversations with almost anyone outside this forum. I come from a family of Sethians and I never heard the word satan until some priest a at a private school when I was a teenager mentioned that I would have to reject Satan and all his works for some ceremony. My reply then was who is Satan and what am I rejecting? I was told then that Satan merely translated to mean "enemy" and that word Satan was just part of the ritual and had no meaning in real life. Oh so that's it, and I never thought about again for years.
Mind you now that I was educated at age 7 to the identity of Lucifer as the hero of the mining revolts. My Grandfather was so proud of that fact he dedicated his life to the United Mine Workers of America in the late 1890s until his death. (fighting for the 8 hour day) I am sorry he never lived long enough to see the movie Matewan, which he actually took part in the real action in those times. Matewan is still a cover-up as the deaths are way too low, and no one ever has admitted to the use of nerve gas on the striking miners. That's right the company used mustard gas killing hundreds of miners, that's how they broke the strike. But anyway back to the topic here, using the word Satan was prohibited by those around me, I never understood the reasoning for that until a decade later, and that was that the perception was that Satan was a slur against Satius/Saturn today. Still in these times things are really different (more tolerate) than then, when this stuff was only discussed among family members on a weekend after dinner. Back then people died, whole families were murdered, (women and children included) and it was all covered up. But I was lucky compared to many others today, at least we were brought up around devout occultists who loved us and understood what was going on. I can't even imagine what would have happened to me if I were around fundamentalists, I would probably be dead?
But really Q your dark heart shines very Brightly.

Some people believe one is more or less born to Satanism - like some sort of dharma perhaps. It would not be at all unusual for any such person to deny any such thing especially due to all the gross misrepresentations of this way of thinking that abound. But after you have finally systematically invalidated every other philosophical slant on things and still can't help but wonder just what it is that makes you such an adamant defender of individuality itself...so "religiously" committed to this whole idea...well...you might begin to rethink Satanism then, since that really is what it is by in large...and the point, I think, is that there exists a powerful global tradition there of some kind...always lurking in the shadows of whatever popular stupidity might happen to rule the roost...or think it does.

As many of my ideals seem to lie within the pages of this forum, I'll remain. But a Satanist, as for now, I will not be.
