Regarding Pagan Websites

Dear Neo-Pagan websites,
I know you're excited about what you believe, and that rocks. But huge pictures of blue naked women dancing with stars as a website background does not function well, especially with blue and purple text. Now, I know the images 'seem' magical to you, but did Taliesin require such when he penned his masterpieces in the bardic tradition? Did the medieval druids, witches, prophets require pictures of half naked prancing faeries on their grimores? Hell naw, they were lucky, and extatic if they had a quill, some ink, and a dried out side of lamb flesh to write on. So, remember, the filler does not make the magic, you don't need these things, they merely convolute what you're trying to do.
Thanks.
Next week, we'll have a talk about the value of names. Yes, I am looking at you, Mr Silver Raven Darke Wylf.

Oh, be nice! :) Let me must jump right in!

Keeping in mind that the magick is within the practitioner, do we really need any more little rhymes?

"By candleflame and light of moon,
my spell will bring me fortune soon."

Puhleeze! Simple-minded, poorly worded rhymes do not magick make, and it should be up to the person doing the magick to determine his or her own ditty, if one is even necessary (and it's not).

So, please refrain from teaching me any more magickal chants, or rhymes, or spells, or whatever you like to call them.

Ah........

*steps down from podium*

HMMM?

and what is you problem with half naked blue women with stars? do they make you distracted? do they cause you embarrassment in your panties? HMM?

or are you simply shy and afraid someone will catch you staring at the blue naked woman? hmm? are you so afraid from naked women that you cant even look? do they have blue pubes too? hmm?

Solerus, you're nuts. Plain and simple nuts.

And almost as bad as the happy psychedelic neo-pagan websites, are the dark, 'satanic' there-are-no-colours-but-red-and-black, type of websites that try to come off all grand and evil and 'omg ph34r us'. Not just that, but often those websites are very poorly designed. Which simply irks me further than any other point could. :D
