Is It Wrong to Have Sex With a Goddess?

This past Wednesday (July 20) night, my girlfriend and I set up a ceremony to invoke Nephthys, beneath a freshly waning moon.

The official ceremony started at approximately 10pm, and Nephthys was invoked closer to 11pm.

It was known that my girlfriend was going to be the channel for Nephthys to come through.

We shared a banishing ritual and I casted the circle. We used an ancient illustration of Nephthys as well as an image of a Hawk. I read a passage of a story summarizing Nephthys' life and role in the ancient and spiritual world, while my girlfriend cleared her mind and conscious, focusing on the invocation.

We set out an offering of Frankincense in a dish, covered with red cloth until the invoking was complete.

I began burning an specially designed incense for invoking Egyptian Gods/Goddesses, primarily comprised of Myrrh, Frankincense, Mugwort, Wormwood, etc...

I began to read out loud a summoning, which I read several times:

"Nephthys of the moon,
You who are all that ever was,
All that is, and all that shall be:
Come, veiled Queen of Night!
Come as the scent of the myrrh charging my circle,
With love and magic.
Do descend upon my circle, I pray
O blessed Nephthys."

As I read, my girlfriend used a crow feather dipped in myrrh to draw Nephthys' hieroglyph on a piece of paper.

She laid in the center of the circle as I continued to read the invocation.

My girlfriend began to twitch at moments, and I asked Nephthys to rise.

Within a few more minutes, my request was granted, and Nephthys was present.

I then made my request:

"O Nephthys, goddess who gives the Pharaoh
The power to see that which is hidden by moonlight,
Illuminate my righteous path, and guide me
Away from negative energies, ignorance and traps.
As the waning moon takes away the moons light,
Please bless me with your guidance,
And remove negativity from my path on these nights.
I am most grateful for the love, compassion,
And guidance you provide.
Will you shine your moonlight upon me
And illuminate that which is hidden by moonlight?
O blessed Nephthys, I pray."

At this point, my girlfriend had completely embodied Nephthys, and my girlfriend was no where to be found.

Nephthys instructed me to sit in still meditation and close my eyes. She guided me through visuals and taught how to become the hawk that can fly into the darkest spaces of my subconscious and reveal hidden traps and spot negativity in order to avoid it.

She spoke to me about several other important aspects of my life and gave me her blessing.

This is the moment I am uncertain of...

While Nephthys was still present in my girlfriends body, something came over me and I had to take her.

At first she resisted, softly pushing me away, as if I had come on too strong.

She told me to find my place, and I eased up, but still moved in.

She began to enjoy herself. As I looked down, I saw Nephthys, she had fully embodied my girlfriend, and my girlfriend was no where to be found.

I took her in the center of the circle and she loved it.

After the ceremony and opening the circle, it took a long time to get my girlfriend grounded.

Soon there after, she got quite upset, feeling completely left out of the ceremony and used.

It had its effect on the both of us, and now, two days later, I'm still feeling quite awful, and yet, at the time, it was one of the best experiences of my life.

Since the invocation, I've been now feeling presence in our apartment ie. a heavy presence walking by, or filling a room, feeling the weight on my shoulder, peripheral eye games, etc.

The final straw that forced me to write this post was that my living room fan just turned on by itself right in front of me. The light was already on, and the ONLY way to turn that fan on is to pull the chain, and I definitely did not hear any chain being pulled.

I don't want to tell my girlfriend, as this happened while she was out, and I don't want to worry her or plant any crazy ideas in her head.

But I want to know if I had broken some kind of cardinal rule by having sex with Nephthys while she was still in my girlfriends body, or if something else may have gone wrong?

Also, what can I do to remove the presence? Is the presence actually threatening? There have been no signs of threat, but the feeling is beyond eerie. We've been living here for a while and there has never been any sign of a presence before.

If something had gone wrong during this ceremony, is there a way to undo what has been done?

Any advice or help is greatly appreciated.

You invoked a powerful, ancient, goddess of death and took her wisdom and then her body? You took more than you contacted her for and now she wants more for what extra she gave you. She guided you away from ignorance and traps, but you didn't acknowledge it and instead did the opposite. You will have to give something else and most likely she will take your relationship.
The gods and goddesses will do all that you ask provided you give something in return. You cannot take from a goddess as ancient as her and expect to get away with it. To banish a goddess that you invited into your house is no easy task. You will need to invoke something more powerful than her to ward her off and then you will become indebted to a much harsher master. The best you can do now is to appease her somehow, preferably not sexually as that will only put you more in debt to her.
However, if it is not Nephthys who is displeased, than it may be her husband Set, and that is a darkness you will not want to deal with alone. In that case you will have to invoke Horus to come to your aid.
As for your girlfriend, I would think it wise not to have her channel anymore spirits for awhile lest whoever is attacking you tries to possess her instead. You shared a moment with a goddess that should have been shared between you and your girlfriend together.
I wonder however, is this the first time you've attempted channeling a goddess?

Most of the work we've done has been with god-form assumptions and thought forms, channeling, and Sikh meditative mantras and evocations.

This is our first encounter truly invoking a god/goddess of this origin.

I feared that you would mention Set. I didn't want to mention it in my first post, as I didn't want to jump to conclusions without evidence, but while I was on top of her, his name (in visual and sound form) flashed in side of me, I felt insanely powerful for just one second, and I quickly forced him out and shut him down. He hadn't returned during the ritual. I understand that Set is her brother/lover, as well as an awfully powerful ancient god of war. I obviously understood the error of my ways, and that's when I gave thanks and called Nephthys off.

I would really like to avoid calling in any more gods to handle the situation. I truly understand what we are capable of after this experience and it's a path I really don't want to travel down, for better or for worse. I do not want to potentially jeopardize my girlfriend, my relationship, nor myself with debts to gods/goddesses.

It is clear that I now need to undo what has been done, or give Nephthys what she thinks is owed to appease her.

I was thinking of casting a circle on my own, calling her fourth, and giving her an offering, an apology, and the gift of using my body to carry out one task of her desires, but under the strict terms that it is only for one night and that neither I nor anyone else can come in harms way because of it.

I'm hoping if I can appease her and send her away with thanks, love and respect, I may be able to avoid any potential risk of things getting any hairier.

Your advice is precious, so please let me know what you think about this approach. As my girlfriend was simple acting as a channel, I do not see any reason for her to be part of the ritual, and I do not want her possibly subject for further invocation of Nephthys nor any other god/goddess.

Last night I took the time to sit down with my girlfriend and talk to her intimately about the whole thing.

I told her I wanted to apologize to her as well as Nephthys in order to right whatever had been wronged.

It was incredible what came out of the both of us during our discussion, and after both sides of the story were explained, the healing began.

We agreed to cast another circle last night in order to set things right with Nephthys and called her back.

We gave offerings, thanks, and love in honor of the experience she blessed us with just a few nights prior.

We offered our bodies in unity, that if she ever felt desire to feel human touch, sex, love and passion in the flesh, she had right to use our bodies to do so, in exchange for her love, her blessing, and that no negative energies nor spirits would be allowed to enter the space.

She lovingly accepted our exchange and accepted our praise and offerings.

If I hadn't sat down to bring my girlfriend into it, nor had I not responded so quickly to turn things around, there is no doubt in my mind that things could've gotten ugly and quickly.

I've learned my lesson in this regard and will be sure to follow an agreed upon ritual before casting any circle, especially when it involves channeling.

My girlfriend is an insanely talented and powerful oracle and shape shifter, and it is important I honor and respect that while she is hard at work and not present.

The ceremony ended last night with an absolute transformation in the energy flowing through our home and I felt the eerie sensations almost immediately vanish.

My humility, honesty, and determination to right the wrong saved me this time, and I won't take it for granted.

Thank you again for you help, your response inspired me to take serious action a lot sooner than I might have if you hadn't offered your advice.

If that is the case, then there is a chance Set wished to become part of the ritual and you denied him of that. However it was wise of you to hold him at bay because both of you would have been in greater jeopardy if neither of you would be able to get grounded.

First encounters with gods are always the most facinating and dangerous if you have never done them before, however never trying would be a waste of talent. The fact that you were capable of channeling such an ancient goddess if proof of your abilities. Perhaps the goddess wanted to remind you that you are still human and should be much more vigilant should you try to invoke any goddess again, or that there are consequences. The gods have... strange ways of teaching important lessons, and they are often things we take for granted or forget over time. Magik is much like fire; it can bring comfort, warmth, and the destruction and repulsion of enemies. However, if you take your eyes off the flame for even a moment it can get out of control and consume you. A suggestion: obtain an anhk and have it blest in the name of Horus or Osirus to bring added protection and perhaps keep Set at bay.

All I can suggest now is to use great caution. So long as you approach the goddess with great reveance and humility and not seek to anger her she will hear you out. You have learned a valueable lesson and realized just how powerful working with magik can be, and how in the wrong or unskilled hands it can cause great destruction. I encourage you to share your story with others and preach the caution needed when undertaking such an immense task especially when you are not the only participant. Bonne chance.

After the conversation with my girlfriend last night, we were finally capable of working out what was incredible about the experience, and also what had her crash so hard there after.

Our conclusion has inspired us both to continue down this road, using her as a channel, as she loved it, but obviously the terms in which it is done must be well thought out, agreed upon, and followed precisely during ceremony.

Last night, Nephthys did share just a small bit of magick with us, and it was incredibly inspiring.

In such appreciation of your involvement, even from a distant, I would like to share it as you might find it inspirational too.

She sent a message that said (I will do my best to paraphrase as it's difficult to recall the exact words/translation):

"Darkness represents the unknown; an empty space for that which has yet to be created or experienced. Darkness is not always evil, but is often misunderstood and feared, because it represents that which is unknown, that which has not yet been created. When you encounter these dark spaces, do not feel fear of the unknown, rather see the potential of creation within them, and go fourth and create."

It was profound for me and I just wanted to share that with you.

in this way the men would gain excess to the world of de Gods. Because it is verry difficult for men to have direct contact with a god.

You have had contact with a goddess threw your girlfriend.
If a goddess dont want to have sex, she would have let you know and she wil not be soft about this.

To continue to press a goddess for anything including sex after she has opposed it is actually absurd. If you can deny the wishes of a goddess, as you did, she is not a goddess. It was probably just your girlfriend in a trance state.

You have no business invoking a goddess whose wishes you do not obey absolutely.
