Invocation of a DEMON

My dear fellow members,

I am interested in invocation of Ipos . Can someone please tell me the process and things to be taken care of during the invocation? I am a newbie to the world of occult and wish to learn.

i think if you are just starting out invoking an actual Demon could have disastrous effects. Are you strong enough to truly ignore suggestions, shielded enough that the demon doesn't attach to you, or focused enough to not even think the word enter me or anything inviting (not even a passing though or intrusive thought). Learning what can go wrong and defending yourself against it should be your first step and I'm sure others here have ideas of how to do that.

Old post, old questions:

1) Are you familiar with the goetia, and how it works, other than there being cool demons that you can use to your benefit?
2) Do you understand what INVOCATION means? There is a VERY big difference between invocation and evocation.


Even with those questions unanswered, i can still answer your question: No. No one can help you invoke a demon, because you don't have that kind of experience. Even if you did, it's strongly recommended that you gain an affinity for that demon/section of your mind BEFORE invocation, through EVOCATION. Please understand that neither of these tasks are easy, or safe, for even some of the more adept occultists. Please read up on some theory, before your head implodes.

Prince: Goetic Demons are NOT Pokemons... They are powerful being and you must aproach them with respect, patience, and prudence. Would you ask a stranger in the street to fix your problem? No. You would ask a good friend, someone you trust. So you better develop some relationship before to ask anything.
I know that in the books it is writen to treaten them with curses and god names and that they will give you anything you want, but it does not realy work that way... How would you react? Of course you would be pissed off... of course you will be the wrathful one that you are forced to be...

Experience tends to prove it is less dangerous and more effective to contact them as a Shaman would contact a spirit: with prudence but respect, even friendship... I realy do not recommend using Solomonic methods unless you want very scary experiences... or are a realy skilled right hand path kind of high priest, and even then...

Some are kind of easy going, some are fierce, or distant... they all are different, just like people... at the difference they are wise and powerful, sometimes very wild too...

It can take years of hard work to get there... so it is rather not a good method for little problems of everyday life... they are more like teachers of secret Arcanes and initiators.

So you can understand why hurriness is so absurd in this area...
If you want fast results, why don't you just cast a spell? Less risks, faster, easier, and even probably more efficient (because the Demon will probably mess it up just to teach you not bothering him like that)

Sigil magick by example can be learned In one day, is easy and bring fast results... did you consider it? If not, I suggest maybe you should.

And... I wonder... did you first try to write a letter to her like to ... apologize, or explain your feelings, or such?

The above are very wise words, but they apply to all demons of all pantheons and paradigms, not just the Ars Goetia. Let me tell you a story about demons, eh?

I've been communicating with demons now for about ten years, and thats after studying magic for sixteen years prior to working with demons. My favourite demons are the ones from the Qlippothic shells, especially Lilith, who I find I have a very strong bond with. About four months ago I did a ritual to invoke Lilith for no real reason other than just being bored. I should have known better right? Youre damn right I should have. Net result was I ended up in a secure psychiatric hospital for two weeks after trying to kill myself at her command, and were not just talking shits and giggles here - I was impelled beyond my own control to kill myself using a fatal overdose of pills. The only thing that saved me from dying was that I managed to call an ambulance when Id taken them because Liliths control was released over me.

Moral of the story.

You. Dont. Mess. With. Demons. Ever.

We get a rash of posts regularly from beginners wanting to summon Demons.Some even command that we show them how....Because ,you know,we are all just sitting around in our high towers surrounded by a multitude of bored Demonics,waiting for new blood..erm no...I mean new Mages [honest,lol] to teach our arcane abilites and dangerous skills to.Nothing better to do,really.

Though,I must add: Some come with ignorance but are willing to learn and find explanation helpful.Others ,well,others need to go away and think on why they were given short shrift hereabouts,lol.

Demons can mess you up in exactly the same way that powerful drugs can - they cause you to have psychotic episodes through dominating you, and that can lead to insanity and, in some extreme cases, death - both yours and other peoples. Why do you reckon people get drawn to that over less destructive magics?

I fully agree with the lectures given out in this topic.Everything has pretty much already been said well enough.Though I personally disagree with the smashing an ant with a sledgehammer analogy.Personally I find overkill rather amusing and I have to confess to actually smashing ants with a pickax before when I was bored.When I do something I like to enjoy myself so I normally either go the route of comedic overkill or slow sadistic cruelty.Now seeing as both Goetic demons and pokemon have been mentioned in this topic I have the strong urge to crack a bad joke and so I intend to do just that.Please don't think badly of me for it , you've brought this upon yourselves.

I agree about psychedelics and demons analogy, also tried both together...
I'm already messed up anyway in a lot of ways [crazy]

I managed to keep some control on the invocation (possession) for a while (3 days)
but at some point psychosis and blackouts appeared and...
well, the ambulance guy was nice though ^^
(took note to myself to maybe not mix the most powerful substances with invocations of demonic entities...)
I am usualy a very stable person, and it took 1 month to totaly come back... I'm glad I was still lucid enought to leave the hospital half an hour after going in...

Also have a friend who happened to be possessed while on shrooms... happily psilocybe is an old friend of mine and I managed to banish/exorcise firmly enough. Still, I must admit it shakes ^^ I was not expecting that this night, I can still remember her black eyes, her deadly screams, how she was moving like a ghoul...

But, about summoning demons only for the most nasty of problems, I would like to add that they are also and moslty good at teaching and initiating.
