I have been trawling through the archives to find stuff relating to LS/Ellis/Red Queen etc.

Whilst many of you who have been lurking on this forum for a significant length of time are likely to groan at the prospect of having to explain to a new generation of newbies what the heck Ellis is all about, you can't blame us for being curious when chaotes refer to "her" in hushed tones and advise "use with great care!" etc.

What interests me in particular is the process by which a sigil can evolve into an eggregore and beyond.

By charging,firing and reinforcing often,empowerment,through continual use and familiarity and of course through group efforts also.

I 'm sure there must be a ton of info on the DBL forum and here in the Archives.The LS began her journey through a thread on the old OF,if I remember correctly [?] I 'll see if I can dig it up,giss a moment or two.

If I recall correctly,Arjil was the originator of the linking sigil design,for Ellis [LS] began as a means of linking magickal efforts together cohesively.It expanded from there on.

I think it best to wait for one of the DKMU guys to comment further,I 'm not sure how accurate I 'm being ,but I do remember the massive interest around the topic/subject material,at that time.

Basically, the sigil was used enough with enough of a certain "flavor" of intent that the energy matrix it created began exhibiting a "temperament". Since the group using it had specific enough intentions when linking, the LS network started to absorb that intent and start acting on it, unpredictably and sometimes, seemingly, on it's own.
At some point, it was agreed that the network had developed enough personality to deserve a name. Since then, Ellis has become increasingly... individualized, and I suspect that she may have her own agenda at this point, that her creators and beneficiaries may or may not fully understand.

The main reason why we urge caution when using the network is because she has occasionally proven more powerful and more unpredictable than even the older users and creators anticipated. A few people have received minor injuries when working with the sigil, and there has been speculation that both minor and major accidents have been related to it.

Since the beginning, for me, Ellis has been a powerful tool and a good friend, in some sense, but she has made it clear that she is not to be taken lightly.

I never realized I was one of the original users until I went back and read the archive. XD

For anybody wondering what this is... it's Ydun's body with Buer in the head, Cleopatra in the torso and "blue eyes" in the privates.

To be up front there are 2 hidden things. One is Frigg is hidden in Cleopatra's headdress. The other thing is that blue eyes has evolved over time. At first she was Sheba then when that wasn't working it moved to Patanjali. Then when Patanjali wasn't working it moved to Lilith-Nuit which is where is stayed. I censored the vulva before uploading so it wouldn't scare anybody.

I am a little late, just realized this board still existed.

I was not around at the creation, of it all, I didn't see the whole process and my work with it was not extensive.

But here is what I think. You can't know, can't fully understand the whole works in process, for my part I noticed a lot of similarities with Ellis and older godforms from other cultures. I don't think there's anything new, I don't think it was ''created'' as such, but I see it more as this ''something'' whatever you want to call it, came and ''found a new home'' we could say within the works of the LS.

It is messy sometimes, can not yield the expected results, I can't say for sure, but it's kind of in a realm where anyone can bring it's own, like a fucking open house, so yeah it gets hectic I guess. I did not have any hurt, or problems myself with it, but I guess that also come in the mindset you get into things, the intent behind doing these works. Putting myself in the place of such a figure, I would get pissed at what some people are trying to do with me, or how they interpret me and whack them too.
