Millions of years old Greek letters found in Phillidelphia

This was posted in a group I belong to. If you don't know how to read Greek (like me) you'll have to push the little "Translate" button, but it seems to do a good job (I think my browser is hooked into Google Translate for me, I don't know about anybody else.)

To me it looks a bit like those smaller stone monuments from ancient times. Not like a full circle kind of thing like Stonehenge, but just one archway and one stone beside it. Not really sure what the purpose of those smaller monuments were. Perhaps they were part of some larger whole and I'm just not aware. But I suppose I digress.

.....Did humans even exist 500 million years ago? Dinosaurs were supposed to have gone extinct only 65 million years ago, and we were supposed to have come after the dinosaurs.

You are quite right.Dinosaur is a Greek word.Comes from the words δεινός which means strong or huge or very ugly and σαύρα that means lizard...the greek word for dinosaur is δεινόσαυρος.

Wow! I read that site you linked! That really changes things!

I think I might read that book...Forbidden Archeology. Sounds interesting.

The occultist/wizard that I have generally followed says that the dinosaurs themselves were really intelligent and scientifically and technologically advanced. Ofcourse, he may have been talking more about the Anunnaki aliens. According to him, although science has clumped all of the beings into "dinosaurs", he says that there were really 3 or 4 distinct races.

I feel sorry for that Pterydactyl [sadface] . Poor thing probably couldn't take our modern version of air. ...or all the pollution in it. I wonder about that shape in the rock that fit it's body, though. Was it cut for him, sort of like a resting place? Or was he trapped there during a time when the rock was soft, but was in some sort of......statis or something?

Exactly how long are we (Humans) supposed to have been here on Earth, anyway? The currently accepted idea.

Another thing that struck me: when those miners found some kind of shiny wall, then the mining company made the miners leave and forbid them to speak about it. What kind of a cover up is that?! Most people would be trying to make money off of the discovery. Or atleast get some noteriety out of it. That's a pretty strange reaction. Unless someone has a reason to want to keep the shiny wall out of public knowledge. But for that to happen...you'd have to already know what it was and where it came from. So,....who knew? The mining company? Someone else? Perhaps, the government (or who knows who else) pressured or even threatened the mining company owner, making sure it would go away. But again,...why? And how did they know anything about it? Especially enough about it to want to make it essentially *not have happened*.
