What am i supposed to see? An innocent insurance commercial
What do i see?
your economy is playing dead until it turns on you one day out of the blue and your father or leader or caretaker is sitting off to the side barbecuing or sacrificing some meat knowing perfectly well that its all going according to plan.
Or this?
What do I see?
We summoned a djinn and now we dont wanna go to sleep. It's not that refreshing anymore
Is this really about the economy?
Re: Is this really about the economy?

It seems like no one wants to talk or think about it once it hits them in the face...................
I thought you guys would at least respond

Re: Is this really about the economy?
Short of the economy being rough, money being tight, and people wanting to save money, I really don't see anything else about the economy in these commercials. And I don't see any sort of secret meanings in them.

Re: Is this really about the economy?
I can kinda see what you're saying about the possum in the first video, if you treat it as a metaphor for the economy, which would be fair I suppose, considering that they're basically selling finance. I'm not entirely sure about that second one, here I'd be inclined to take Occultess' view, that it's just an advert about people trying to save money in silly ways.
I'm inclined to believe it's probably not intended as a hidden message, some adverts just make colossal errors in the metaphor they use. I can't remember the advert, but I recall reading some advert that made me lol because the metaphor was so broken, it actually suggested extremely undesirable qualities in the product. I think this is a similar case of an advert where that interpretation didn't occur to them before it went to print.
