Hello Fellow Seekers
Hello great members of this forum!
I've been self studying for about one year. Reading, reading, reading— anything and everything I could find. I owe a lot to this forum for pointing me in the right direction and providing me with TONS of valuable insight and recommendations. So, thank you!
I decided to introduce myself and start participating in the forum as part of my ongoing battle with my procrastination. Concerning my magickal studies, I've done much more spectating and researching than DOING, and I feel the time has come to start applying the principles I have come to believe so much in. Complacency and laziness are huge negative energies in my life and I think participating in the forum will help me work past these blockages.
I look forward to getting to know like minded members and being pro-active and diligent in the community!
Regards,
Frater EUIS

Hello and welcome to the forum. [cool]

Re: Hello Fellow Seekers
Just one word of advice:
Grapefruit.
That is all. (I never said the word of advice would be helpful.)
[wink]
Sillyness aside, welcome the most open, understanding, informative, non-flaming, non-idiot, somewhat eccentric (in a good way), honest and encouraging forum I've ever been a part of.
Me buttering up? Naaaaah.
I do have an actual piece of advice though:
Be sure to start small. The best place to start is youself. An open and clear mind is a must. Knowledge of what you truly want is important. I always recommend inward meditation to everyone who is delving into the unknown. Magick and mysticism is not something that happens insantly, like the internet. And just like the internet, the realm of the occult is ever changing, and (not meaning to put you down in any way) experience will always be your ultimate mode of learning. The problem lies in the fact that even the most wizened person can really make a mess of things and possibly hurt themselves or others.
I'm not saying you will, but a piece of advice I give each and every person, and advice I have to remind myself of constantly, is patience and an open mind.
Best wishes and luck,
Zeon

That's high praise.
