Witchcraft just for women?
Witchcraft just for women?
I know this is kind of strange, but i am asking this because i was reading a book about Witchcraft and it kept refering to the one who practice as "she" or something like that. So... if anyone could tell me i would be glad.
Thanks. [happyface]

Re: Witchcraft just for women?
No, they use "she" just because of the overly patriarchal society we live in. Also women tend to be more intuitive, but that doesn't mean that a man is less capable of witchcraft. [wink]
We live on a placid island of ignorance in the midst of black seas of infinity, and it was not meant that we should voyage far. The sciences, each straining in its own direction, have hitherto harmed us little; but some day the piecing together of disociated knowledge will open up such terrifying vistas of reality, and of our frightful position therein, that we shall either go mad from the revelation or flee from the deadly light into the peace and safety of a new dark age. ~ H.P. Lovecraft

Hey, now waitaminnit...Serenitydawn wrote:Also women tend to be more intuitive...
I'm sensing a little gender bias underlying this statement.
Upon what, pray tell, are you basing this supposition?
Hmmmm? [geek2]
