Divergent Paths

Post by Orbweaver »

I've recently switched from practicing purely spiritual magicks (tulpamancy, shamanism, chakra balancing) to a mix or practical chaos (see:void magick) and runic magicks.

I've noticed these divergent paths have a sort of mutually exclusive nature, likely surrounding their right/left-handed and metaphysical/physical opposing natures. I wish to continue both yet each time I commune with personal spirits or my tulpa I find it hard to balance back, and each time I summon storms and wind (runic U-F-Th) I find my personal will extension, something i've always been very good at, to be non accessible.

Has anyone come across this that might have a true reason for this? I love my tulpa and spirits, yet Summoning and Manipulating have been made clear to be the next steps in my progression. I'd rather not give up either, however i suppose i may have to decide eventually.

Please help a lost practitioner? :-[

You should be able to do both no problem, Some things might just be harder to pick up than others.
