I've been browsing the forum for a few days now and it seems to me that my interests fall under Witchcraft and Chaos magic. However I've been trying to find a good place to begin but, seeing as I don't have a formal teacher available to me, I was hoping that those who are experienced in one or both of these areas would let me know of some texts that would serve the purpose of an "introduction to magic" course. [rofl]
Thanks,
Sid

Re: Recommended Readings?
im a beginner myself but id suggest you start with "liber null and psychonaut" for chaos magick. have fun.
Re: Recommended Readings?
On chaos magick i would recommend Condensed Chaos: An Introduction to Chaos Magic and Oven- ready Chaos. Both written by Phil Hine. Great for a beginner in magic and will help you understand more of what Peter Carrol speak of in Liber null
The chaosmatrix site is also great for info.

Re: Recommended Readings?
I second the chaos matrix site, it is a wealth of info. Also, read EVERYTHING, even if you think its irrelevant. Especially if you are intending on practicing Chaos Magic. Personally, I suggest Psychic Self-Defense - Dion Fortune... eh just download from here and start reading
Enjoy.

Enjoy.

Re: Recommended Readings?
Well since nobody has touched on Witchcraft yet,
why'ncha take a gander at Robert Graves' "The White Goddess"?
