how to undo your own spell?
how to undo your own spell?
Hi,
Can any one tell me how to undo your own spell? I can at best render my spell to less harmful but i can't completely undo it.

Re: how to undo your own spell?
What was the spell intended to do, and how exactly did you cast it?
Re: how to undo your own spell?
Its too late to undo it because that person is already dead. To make the long story short, someone pissed me off, i cursed someone and than he is dead. I did know the way to undo a spell or curse. Can you suggest a way so i can use it in future to avoid doing serious damage.Azkhet wrote:What was the spell intended to do, and how exactly did you cast it?
Re: how to undo your own spell?
Don't curse them? Without some more information, that's the best I can do.
Re: how to undo your own spell?
Everyone looses control when they are in a rage. Besides curse can be placed with mere words or even just wishing it without any words.Azkhet wrote:Don't curse them? Without some more information, that's the best I can do.
Re: how to undo your own spell?
This is a good example of why you have to be sure of your goal before you even do it. Lots of books will tell you to do some sort of divination to ask what the outcome of your life would be if you did the spell. All you can really do is make sure you *really* want the desired results, double check with divination beforehand if you would be more comfortable with that, and if you *really* don't want the end results you better hope the spell fails. There really is no undoing it once its done.
Re: how to undo your own spell?
I am really bad with divination related field. I practiced divination years ago but i must admit i am not suitable in this field. I gave up divination as i didn't have success. My mothers side of the family is naturally gifted with special dreams ( like getting signs or warning before something bad going to happen) even though they don't practice. But, it seems i might have inherit some powers but its type got altered. Another interesting fact is, for some reason i never get scare or frightened in my dreams (Even when i get chased by lions/tigers). Its like my fear switch is turned off while i am dreaming.Frater_NT wrote:This is a good example of why you have to be sure of your goal before you even do it. Re: how to undo your own spell?
There are many different types of divination. I believe that if you research and practice, you can develop adequate skill in divination of some kind. Skill doesn't just fall into our laps; we have to work for it. You make divination harder for yourself by doubting yourself. I believe that you can learn to control your power some day if you believe in yourself. If you are really as powerful as you say, then you have a responsibility to yourself and the world to take every precaution possible in your magic.msrb999 wrote:I am really bad with divination related field. On a related note, I recommend that you find some sort of way to get your anger under control. It's true that everybody gets angry sometimes and accidentally hurts other people. However, it is not common for people do die just because of anger. This is a serious danger for you and the people around you. What if you get angry at yourself some day and curse yourself? What if you get angry at someone you really love? I was angry at my mother just yesterday but I don't want her to die. Learn coping skills, go to therapy, please do something. Every person on this planet needs a little bit of therapy.

Re: how to undo your own spell?
Thanks for the link. I will look into it. I rarely get that kind of angry these days, as i am getting older my head is getting cooler. My power gets triggered if i am angry and annoyed. If i am only angry it usually don't harm anyone. I know the danger my power pose on my family that's why i have put a special prayer on them years ago so they are safe not only from me but also from other dangers. And i am a kind of resistance to magic, no magic or other supernatural entities can kill me or do any harm. Sometimes, i think its Allah's will that i don't fully control my power so that i don't have to be responsible for all my misdeeds. I am not that powerful, almost all the time i am channeling power from Allah. And i doubt anyone would be foolish enough to brag about their powers in a forum full of magic users without having the confidence to protect themselves.Frumens wrote:msrb999 wrote:Frater_NT wrote: There are many different types of divination. Re: how to undo your own spell?
It's too late to undo that one.
In the future you can add a 'stop' feature to the spell itself. 'When this happens', or 'when I do this or that', or even go for something simple and folk magicky. The simplest thing you can do is to wind a piece of string while you're working your spell. Add into the spell 'when I unwind this string and burn it this spell will release and stop.'
I think that we're all responsible for the things that we do. If we know we don't have the self control that's required then we need to learn it.

Sometimes it happens like a reflex, the process is unpredictable. Its like bad things happens to people who annoys me, whether i cast spell or not. There are also some auto protective power around me, its beyond my control. Its always there, even before i started practice.
My magic is not like string.
Re: how to undo your own spell?
I didn't say your magick was like string. I used a simple example from folk magick to show how you can add a stop feature to a spell.
The magick that flied out from you naturally - isn't a spell. You might want to research the 'evil eye'. It's along those same lines.

How do you know that if you have evil eye or not? My power get triggered on annoyance not jealousy.
Re: how to undo your own spell?
Those are the things that trigger giving the evil eye. You can also add envy to the list.
The evil eye is sending out 'badness' or cursing people instinctually without doing it on purpose.
Perhaps it's time to work on some self control. You know you do this. You're aware that it happens. Therefore, you are responsible for what you send out.

Re: how to undo your own spell?
Its easy to say than done. It even sometimes gets activated when you are thinking about something harmless like making a fantasy. I am a bit confused, I though everybody posses evil eye. By the way, is there any good use for evil eye except cursing people?RoseRed wrote:Those are the things that trigger giving the evil eye. You can also add envy to the list.

Re: how to undo your own spell?
Depends whom you curse. [yay]
It's the focus of anger and malice in the gaze that creates the evil eye. There's some lore regarding glamour/attraction charms that use the eyes as a focal point for the energy, which is essentially the "evil eye" but for love and lust-oriented purposes. I guess you could use it to focus healing energy or something, too, in some variation of some third-eye technique... kinda, I guess. Never heard of it specifically, but I've never looked into it, either.
I agree with Rose Red that self-control is optimal. If you believe you have some semi-uncontrolled power to curse people with more than a hangnail, excuses as to why you can't control this ability are poor excuses at best.

Does every people have evil eye? Can you nullify the curse caste by the evil eye? Evil eyes is hard enough to handle no need for third evil eye, think about the horrors [lol] .Azkhet wrote:Depends whom you curse. [yay]

Re: how to undo your own spell?
If you believe that everyone is capable of altering reality to some degree by the force of their belief, then yes, everyone has the capability to use the evil eye. Insofar as nullifying the curse, of course you can, just like anything else. In most cases the "evil eye" isn't that strong anyway since the casting of it is usually transitory and not often directed for a long period with pure, malicious intent (compared to say making a poppet out of raw pork, soaking it in urine, and stabbing it repeatedly with rusty nails before abandoning it in a graveyard... time + focus + intent = work, and all that.)msrb999 wrote:

Re: how to undo your own spell?
Yes.
I think that just about everyone has the ability to give the evil eye in theory. Some people are better at it than others. Like any innate ability it can be practiced and honed OR ignored and fly out from a person at every random jealous, envious, annoyed, etc, emotion.
Ask yourself these questions. They're personal and I never expect anyone to answer these types of things publicly if they're not comfortable doing so. I just hope that you at least give them some thought.
- Do you really want to curse everyone that annoys you and makes you mad?
- Do you believe in some version of Karma, The Law of 3, you reap what you sow, what you send out comes back to you?
- If you do - do you really want all of those curses that you sent out to come back to you?
- Is this the type of person that you really and truly want to be?
-------------------
The evil eye is much harder to retract than a created spell. A spell has form and function. A spell can have a stop-gap placed into it. The evil eye flies out from a person. It's like the difference between a shotgun and a .45. One is scattered and uncomformed while the other is precise.
It's easier for the person that's been cursed to have it removed than it is for the person who sent it out to retract it. A lot of times the evil eye isn't even realized when it's sent out. How can you retract something you're not even aware of doing?

The Law of 3 is a modern western witch concept, its true intention is to minimize damage done by witchcraft . I may be new to western magic but i practiced magic for more than 15 years. I can't control my power but i know how things going to turn up because of my experience. The concept of karma is originally developed in south Asia by some of my ancestors. Its a faulty concept believed by Hindu, now its adopted by west and made law of 3.RoseRed wrote: - Do you believe in some version of Karma, The Law of 3, you reap what you sow, what you send out comes back to you?
As a Muslim i believe in sins. That's why i don't use spells, ritual or talisman, instead i follow Sufism concept. I mainly channel power from Allah or use prayers.
But as there are no real Sufi anymore, i couldn't learn any way to control it. As a result, sometimes i blunder.
Curses only come back if you can't effectively bestow them.RoseRed wrote: - If you do - do you really want all of those curses that you sent out to come back to you?
I am a firm believer of vengeance, what you expect from a scorpion [lol] ?RoseRed wrote: - Is this the type of person that you really and truly want to be?

I am still not convince that i got evil eye, may be its a unwanted reaction. What about the magical protection that i have? What kind of magic is that?
