Salutations from the Grove

Post by Cyberdragon1775 »

Hello everyone. I am a practicing Druid in the desert, but that doesnt mean I cant learn as much as possible. I will be on as often as I can. But my Job will make times short on here. If you send me a message I will respond back ASAP.

Dont be afraid to ask questions, I dont bite much ;)

I hope to meet you soon. Until then

*Puting on anti-biting-druid armor"

Welcome in the forum, Cyberdragon [crazy]
One equestion before I put on my helmet, was the desert of symbolic meaning or do you have a desert next to your house door? I have never heard of a desert druid before (maybe because the druid stuff rooted in europe was mainly based in tree rich regions), therefore your description hit my explorer nerve [wink]

Welcome! When I hear desert Druid I think of the "blue skinned" Tuareg of the Sahara Desert. Let me find that book..."their motherland was in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean...one day their land disappeared under the water...Modern-day Tuareg claim they are descendants of those who were in the Sahara on business when the catastrophe occurred." - Douchan Gersi "Faces in the smoke"

Haha. First off I dont bite people. Though my familiars would be another story.

Second I live in the middle of New Mexico, everywhere around me has a ton of dirt and sand. Though by the Rio Grande there are rather tall and taken care of trees. Personally not having trees around me is both a good and bad thing. Bad thing is I dont have the best energy resources to work with or the shade for meditation. But the Upside is it makes me work on tapping into the ambient air around me and most importantly the Earth Mother for guidance. Im looking forward to Lá Fhéile Bríde. My patience with making my robes and cords has paid off this winter.
