Hello all, first post so please go easy on me.

I was wondering if anyone had experience with altering ones astrological natal chart and what some hypothetical repercussions of that might be, in the opinions of the readers. I apologize if my train of logic may be a little off but, if astrologically speaking we receive an astrological blueprint of sorts at the time of our births (at the time of our births because we are somehow protected by influence from the womb as I have read) then we are for the most part destined to be subjected to that astrological influence for most of our lives.

Now speaking about alchemy, to foster a change in some matters we can imbue it with subtle energies for when it is in an energized state. An example of this would be to separate, and purify, the alchemical mercury, sulfur and salt out of 'lavender' then doing this in the hour of mercury, on Wednesday (the day of mercury) in between in early June (also Mercury).

Doing the above would, in theory, make the spargyric, tonic or whatever you would call it, have strong influence of Mercury in it. In saying this, to improve on the exercise, one could perform the lbrp to clear energies, lbrh to do the same and grh to invoke mercury.

essentially what you are doing is creating a strong mercurial field for the spargyic's creation, like when we are created and are effected by the planetary fields that are present.

Continuing with all of that then would it be some how possible to, lets say "be reborn" under the influences that you do or don't set out?

I have often thought of the Christian god of today being some what associated to tiphareth and the sun. So when someone is baptized, then it is done on a sunday (or atleast i've read that it is preferred to be done on a sunday). Even if it wasnt done on a Sunday clearly a church is going to be full of that energy because of the constant reverence of the christian god, who as i said earlier in my opinion is primarily Sun associated.

With this then all those baptized would then take on, and be "reborn" with a much stronger Sun association.

If you have continued to this point then congratulations and thank you for sticking with my train of logic. With the above information do you think it is possible to, lets say, "reconfigure" your birth chart?

No, I don't. You cannot go back and change the time of your birth.

You can, however, choose to be 'baptized' or Initiated at a specific time. That has the potential to change the course of things but I don't think a whole lot.

Just using the moon as an example - it has the power to control the tides and all of the water on the planet. Humans, too - considering that we're walking bags of water.

It's an interesting theory and one I considered years ago. Perhaps you'll come to a different conclusion than I have on it.

From the Vedic perspective, there are remedies to weak or negative placements in your charts. However, to fully understand what these might be it is necessary to learn about them from a competent astrologer.

These remedies may range from simply honoring the planet to offerings to more complex rituals. This is predicated on the idea that the planets are more than the balls of gas or dead rocks we see: there is a consciousness associated with the planet who manages its energetic effects. They are also accessible to mankind.
