I want to build a relationship with St.Michael and Archangel Raphael, I have a.statue of St.Michael and going to buy one for.Archangel Raphael and set up altars for them, I have a candle holder for offerings and candles for.them and would hopefully go down the path of getting deeper with it but im still at the stage where im building a foundation in magic.
What do you suggest I place on the altars along with my candles and statues? Beside St.Michael im going to have the virgin mary also since he is.also her.protector ive.read and I like to build a relationship with her also.

My first suggestion to you is that you should practice the Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram. The reason for this is to not only clear your space but to begin to bring you into contact with these angelic beings.

As a Christian, you may want to first pray to Jesus to ask Him to help you with this and to guide you to work with the angels in a positive manner that will help your development and lead to you being able to assist others.
Beyond that, the first step is to ask them. You have an altar and that's great. I would suggest making small offerings to them with your prayers, such as leaving a flower by the statue and lighting a candle. This can be even a wildflower that you pick. The next step is meditation. You can begin by sitting quiet, being sure you are grounded, and taking a deep breath slowly chant the name of the Archangel as you breath out and visualize their image while sending them positive intentions.
Trying working only with one at first so you can be more focused. As you have a Christian perspective, I would remind you of 1 John 4:1. That should make you feel more comfortable.

Thank you very much, I plan on working with St. Michael first exclusively for a while till I get back to being comfortable (used to work with him a lot years ago but not to a large extent that I want to now, I would use his card and ask for protection when working on spells, I have a large background working with Hoodoo) then alternating between the others.
I always thought LBRP was for invocation and never got into ceremonial magic so I was kind of iffy on weather I should jump into that type of work right away.
