Weird and seemingly scary dream

I just had this REALLY messed up dream.. I don't know whether I was astral projecting and not aware of it or something but my dream went like this.. I woke up on the couch I was sleeping on, I didn't move around, all of a sudden I hear something say "Hi" to me and I look over to my room to see some figure with a beard walking from my room to behind the other couch across from me, I was TERRIFIED! Surprisingly enough, I managed to stick in the dream afterwards.. I was still on the couch and I tried to grab my phone off its charger I put in on every night I sleep, but it wouldn't come off!! All I would get is a duplicate phone coming right out of the physical phone, I was CONFUSED! [eek] After that, I thought of going upstairs to wake up my dad and tell him what happened and of course, that happened instantly at the thought of it.. He just shook it off. I thought of going back to the couch, which I did, but not even a second after I woke up..

What the hell is this kind of dream? ._. I'm so confused..

I know, there is a dream interpretation part of the forum ._. I just noticed now xD I just posted this right after I woke up so I wasn't really looking at that point...

Sounds like a pretty standard projection experience, not sure if it was astral or mental - although the fact that you just popped upstairs suggests mental.
