What are the magickal effects of carrying herbs on you?

What are the magickal effects that occur when you carry your herbs on you? Also can they be carried in a glass jar or do they have to be in a bag for maximum effect?

To be specific, the herbs I am thinking of carrying on me are rosemary and cannabis. Thanks for the help.

Depends on the herbs and what you do with them. Generally speaking, the energy and qualities of the herbs will interact with your aura and psyche and do various things to you metaphysically, depending on the herb, what it does and whether or not you "activate" it. Besides that, it also depends on whether or not you weave together a spell out of it, enchant and Charge the lone herbs, or just carry dead plant matter around in your pocket.

It all depends on what herbs you use, your relationship with them (the plant spirits) and how skilled you are at using them.
