problem with auric sight

i have problem with the ability to see auras.
i have been able to see a pale line around objects since i was around 3 years old. now i'm 20.
i have been practicing on third eye for 3 years, sixth chakra for more than a year, hand chakras for more than two years.
and practiced to see auras for about a year. my practices are more than a hour a day in the average .
i practiced all kinds of things for auric sight but haven't been able to see more than just a pale purple line for white background and an about 1-4 millimeter thick blue area for any object with black background.
what could be the problem? all i want to see is just one layer of aura.
my third eye practices have gotten to a level were i feel my forehead gos numb because of the too much energy that i feel on it( it actually doesn't just feels like it ).

i don't have any problem with believing or this kind of things because in my dreams when i don't know that i am sleep, i try to see aura and i see something.

i searched every were, looked every were , tried every thing for months and have no clue .what is the problem.

I've noticed this phenomena a long time ago, I tried it again but only for about a minute(looking at my fingertips). Against the white computer screen it looks transparent with a thin outline. Against my dark brown bureau, it looks dark, with a fuzzy purplish outline. With the effect creating more space where my fingers come together. Could be my eyes playing tricks on me to a degree.

I tried to elaborate, but lets just say I definitely saw something.

P.S. I just tried it with my bic lighter, and I thought I saw a thin shadow with a fuzzy purplish outline as well.
