How to Protect Oneself From Spirits?

I am sure this topic came up a number of times in this forum, but I think my situation is a bit different.

Whenever I do magic at my home a number of spiritual entities come and go. One stayed back and had to be driven away by the entity I work with, because I was unaware of it's presence. A month back I was touched by a few entities in my sleep who meant ill will.

I do shield myself and my house regularly. In addition, I am thinking of getting some protective stone. But I am wondering why am I still unable to keep them away from my house? Any advice on how to strengthen my shielding powers? Is there are any way I can stop all entities from entering my house (good, bad or neutral), except the ones I want to work with?

Your advice will be greatly appreciated.

I would really recommend searching the forum for the practical advice, but yes.
You can pretty much scrub everything away so that nothing that isn't invited gets in. Which of course means that you need a specific place that you can open up, invite what you want, and then close of again.

And then keep your bedroom completely shielded of. If you want to do any dream work, do it somewhere else then your normal sleeping place.

I think protecting ones home and the occupants within is an honorable thing to do.

So is trying to learn in a controlled manner. There's nothing wrong with want to speak with Billy Bob and not let John in the house.

You're a self proclaimed Demonolater. Although, to be honest, I really have no idea what that entails other than the obvious of working with some level of demon entity. How they were invited there in the first place will give you an idea of the best way to have them leave. Without knowing what levels of workings you're doing - it's a pretty open ended question.

I think that until you learn the level of control it requires to be a bouncer (let some in and others out) that you might be better off doing your workings outside of your home.

Of course, there's lot of things you can do - BUT - and it's a BIG BUT - those are really dependent on the work you've already done. To make suggestions without having any idea of your actual practice is irresponsible - other than the standard ones.

Well, when working with Rosier I invite him inside my circle and then invoke him. I do all my work in my own room. But I have encountered those beings while sleeping in my mum's room. Sometimes I sleep there if my room is too hot. Recently, I have noticed that my psychic abilities are opening up. I see, hear and smell many things. But the aforementioned encounter was not a good one. And don't worry Rosier always has my back even if it takes me time to realise it. But instead of relying on him I want to develop my skills and take charge of my situation.

sounds like your having after effects, IMO of course. i mean just because you called the demon, basically invited him in for tea, does not really mean he had to leave. making sure the spirit is gone and will do no harm after your rituals, takes the proper work just like evoking does. many have turned away from actually burning the spirits sigals and signs? if your really having troubles maybe look into that. the rod, or box i cant remember its been so long since i have had any major problems. strong banishing rituals normally do the trick. also there is really no need to be raising demons when you probably havent invoked any of the archangels yet? having them on your side is something that you must not stray from doing! there are enough bad things in our world already! not saying dont work with any demons by any means, just saying maybe go farther with the archangels to make sure they are protecting you as well? just a thought, thank you

No, thank you [smile] . I am performing simple banishing techniques on a more regular basis and changed my shielding ritual. But I do the banishment to get rid of unwanted 'energies' and entities. My work ethics does not require me to banish the demons I work with and I have been harassed by human spirits. Life is much easier now.

Maybe it's uncalled for, but have you ever considered using a Bagua Mirror? This magickal object has been banished by most Feng Shui schools because it's too powerful, and could harm one who is not used to magick.
You can get a convex one, which reflects unwanted energy, or a concave one, which absorbs them. The most important aspect of using the Bagua mirror is how you program it, so it will work exactly how you want it to.
These being said, it can be successfully used for both healing and killing (fengshui.about.com).

When doing magickal workings you go into an altered state of consciousness most likely theta. Simply being in this state makes you aware of things you would not normally be aware of. When they see, that you see them, they can become entangled with you and all your yummy energy. Any emotional response they elicit from you feeds them, and you know what they say, feed it once, now it stays. Salt and sage should handle most things if it gets worse let me know, I’m a writer and have been researching the topic of magickal methods for dispatching spirits that refuse to leave (worst case scenario). I’m always eager to hear people’s stories, and If it does become worse… I know several individuals that I consult with regularly on my stories. They have a good deal of experience not only with the occult but with dealing with entities as well.
