My experience of working with spirits have been truly great. Not only have they been memorable but funny too. Here I am going to share some of my experiences. They won’t exactly make you roll on the floor laughing but nonetheless they are quite amusing.

I began my magical pathworking by working with Rosier. One day I decided to stop invoking him and excused myself by saying that as my psychic abilities are not open, it is better I start working with him after I open them up. In the mean time I had accidentally brought in a spirit in my home about whom I was totally unaware. So whenever I went to sleep Rosier gave me full body electric shock to wake me up. It started happening a day later after I stopped working with him. I was an absolute newbie and I was both confused and scared. I talked with other practitioners on a few occult forums, but none of them could pinpoint what was going on. Some said that I was about to astral travel. But I shrugged it off saying that I am not even practising for it. After the situation persisted for several days I went mad with lack of sleep. One night Rosier woke me up with electric shock again. I controlled my temper and went back to sleep again. Just as I was about to fall asleep I heard a noise in my room. I knew my headphone fell on the ground judging by the noise. I turned on the light and saw that I was right. I could not take it anymore. I angrily told him off saying, “Listen I don’t know what you are doing, OK. If you intend to make me astral travel take it easy. For some reason if you are angry with me and trying to harass me, don’t! I need my sleep!” A few days later I contacted a clairvoyant regarding the matter. He told me that Rosier was trying to warn me about the spirit of a dead man in my home and drove him away. In addition, he was trying to open up my psychic abilities. Imagine my mortification [blush] . I felt like burying my head in the ground like an ostrich for my big mouth!

A friend of mine gave me the name of a fae sprite he works with. Let us call her ‘A’. He told me that I can summon her by calling her name. If I wanted to I can burn red candles for her and give her flowers of bushy plants as offerings. The very first time I had invoked her I called her name. Then I took her candle and tried to borrow flame from Rosier’s. The latter’s flame instantly bent towards hers. It filled me with joy. Then I sang for the two Tagore’s songs. Rosier’s flame was dancing but A’s flame was still. I was slightly miffed at the fae and I showed her my tongue. Later, I tried to light Rosier’s candle with the flame of A’s but for some reason it moved in the opposite direction away from me. I smiled knowing that she was toying with me. Nonetheless, I borrowed her flame. Later I saw the flames of the two bending towards each other every once in a while. At that moment I wished badly to see what they were doing.

Then I began working with Leviathan. After reciting his enn I closed my eyes trying to imagine him. I imagined him as a whitish blue woman (just like the colour of Cyberdemon’s previous avatar) with serpentine lower part. After almost a minute I heard someone saying in my head, “Leviathan is a serpent not a mermaid!” I opened my eyes and burst out laughing. He had responded to my call. One day I invoked both him and Rosier together. I was curious how much they liked each other, so I brought their candles together to observe the movement of the flames. I heard Leviathan asking, “What are you doing, Napoli?” I replied, “I am trying to see whether you two like each other.” He replied, “Open your third eye. This is getting embarrassing.” After some time I decided to stop working with Leviathan due to a misunderstanding on my part. Finally, I called him again and he remarked, “The prodigal son returns.”

Finally, here is a list of the nicknames I gave to the demons I have worked with or intend to. Please note that I don’t mean to do so to insult them. Rather, I am doing so because I love working with them.

Rosier- Rose
Leviathan- Levi
Belial- Belle
Flereous- Flerr
Lucifer- Lucie
Eurynomous- Nomnom. Okay, after I came up with this name I remembered that in Greek mythology he is a daimon who consumes flesh of human corpses, leaving behind their bones [confused] .

You're making me start to wonder if I shouldn't try an Enochian aethyr one of these times soon (likely TEX for starters) to see what it can bring.

What you brought up though is one of the things that makes me a little self-conscious about working with deities in a social sense - ie. I can't see what I"m doing and I too quickly start correlating it to acting foolish in public, at work, etc.. and how I generally feel about that (probably more mortified than what's good for me).

I don't have a lot of funny stories necessarily but I am trying to work with Nepthys on sleep issues and Babylon on my Scorpio aspects. Also with my 3rd month of Israel Regardie's One Year Manual my breath mantra is to Isis - hope that doesn't get my subconscious too confused or have the Lady of 10,000 Names wondering whether I missed the 10,000 Names part of that.

I think you should go with whatever your heart tells you [happyface] . I think these beings know why we are making such mistakes and so does not judge us. It seems that you and I are both very conscious about the impression we give them with our actions. But I say as long as you don't behave like me hot-tempered and impatient, I think you will be fine.
