Cleansing

I have real bad OCD when it comes to cleansing stuff really bad. I cant have no objects on my altar unless they are cleansed from incense sticks to the offerings. I don't want negative energy in my room where I have my altar and I get so technical about it. I don't like fear the fact that there may be negative energy around me I just really hate having it around, you know. It really consumes half my time for making offerings and I am sick of doing it. I have this bad feeling if leave something around to long lingering on the shelf it may consume negative energy, because I live with eight people and we have a lot of arguments. I also have that voice in the back of my head that says I cant use stuff if they been used by someone else. Do I have to cleanse every single thing or can I just let some things be? What kind of stuff should I cleanse and not cleanse?

If you consecrate an object for a specific reason it will never loose power as long as it is only used for that reason.
But living with 8 others doesn't sound beneficial for your kind of behavior, maybe you should look into living on your own.
