Sun/Soul Gazing - A.K.A. - "TappingThePowerOfThineSoul". ?

Someone recently brought my attention back to: "Sun Gazing" - And now I think I understand what they mean by: "Tapping the power of your: [Soul].",
In order to perform magick.



What if: "Sun Gazing" - Was just a practice to have a lucid dream or just a dream about looking at the sun?

I remember having a lucid dream about looking directly at the sun,
It was the most beautiful feeling I could ever feel.

I felt empowered.

So...
The energy required for magick - is soul energy?
Via Meditation or Lucid Dreams?

In meditation - I hear that one can induce something similar to a lucid dream.

And I'm guessing that's what most people who actually can perform magick - do - Sun Gaze/Soul Gaze - While Meditating.

I am sure we can tap the power of God's Soul/Sun,
The one that we all share beyond our sky,
But - What we're talkin about here is our own Soul/Sun within the universe of our mind that gives energy to our inner - (spirits/dream characters/personalites) - that live on an identical earth to ours.

....

So - How can I manipulate my soul/sun to give life to chaos magick?

Are there any methods for this?

Interesting concept indeed if the result can be the same. And I honestly feel like it is so. However it is always a mixture of both. Creation in mind and feelings in this... physicality.

Reminds me a bit of the Qabalistic Cross ritual, where you visualize yourself recieving the light of God and feeling it through you.

About chaos magick you need to achieve a high energetic state and then transfer such energy to the sigil or feel it going off to the universe. To do so you may put yourself in an intense situation such as masturbation, sex, asphyxia, self-mutilation; or, regarding the theme we are discussing, strong visualization. For example, sitting by the sun and feeling its light enter your crown and going to the root through the heart would create such energetic state. When you feel you are pretty "charged" or in a high energetic state you may launch such intent. Feel it going off to the universe and feel how it shapes all your surroundings. You may think about it as an update to your reality

I have one question,
How will I know when I reach my max?
Like - What is the sign that indicates one is fully charged?

For example,
If one is wearing a wooly sweatshirt on a hot day,
And goes down a plastic slide that is coiled - (20) times in a row,
By the twentieth slide - as one apraoches the end of the slide - they get hit in the face by a wall of electricity,
A type of force field.

The reason why one gets hit by the electric wall - is because they're charged up at their max with static electricity. ~

You are very welcome Kurokami,

In my experience... you will know. Just feel it. As if you are dancing like a maniac and suddenly just feel to stop. Or having sex and you just feel it coming. Trust that you will know how and when. Know it.

Although there are some guidelines and methods that I suggest you look if you happen to be interested, you should just try it for yourself and see what works for you. Experimentate and have fun. Taking notes have helped me to identify what works and what doesn't. Just know that you must become kind of mad/high energetic (no need to be physically active but helps a whole lot) until you can't sustain it no more and then let go. Dance, for example, like mad visualizing your desire and feel it as in your posesion then let go. Also note that this enthusiasm is not always needed. Just control of the elements symbology as human parts. Air magination, Fire will, Water emotion, etc.

Basic guidelines are on XIV card as attached. Air > Fire > Water > Earth until it manifests (golden hill far away on left, at the end of the path, after you have walked, grounded yourself and forgotten about it.)

I have another question,
Besides tapping the power of our soul to perform magick,
How can smoking weed or salvia or getting buzzed off of alchohol be used in magick?

Like...

What kind of spells can I cast whilst under the influence?

Or...

How can I apply intoxication to chaos magick?

I am about to get some badass weed,
Some club stuff.

And I want to do something with it.

You can do exactly the same things. Though it must be said that drugs may help into getting into stronger feelings or maybe help in concentration. It can be the other way around too.

I think as far as Occult application, it has to be the right person using the right drug.

When I smoke weed I tend to feel more withdrawn from people, moving inward,
and perhaps philosophizing over deep or paradoxical subjects.

When I drink alcohol, I prefer to be around people, or in a busy, intellectual chat room.
I can even be violent on alcohol, and often use poor judgement. It doesn't really matter
much what kind of alcohol, but wine I will usually drink for 12 to 18 hours straight, although
I don't really drink consistently, maybe once a month, and sometimes go 6 months without drinking.
it's pretty erratic.

These have been my two main drugs, pretty much my whole life. Never tried salvia.

I try to stay away from harder drugs.

Now as of lately, I find there are drugs that seem to be perfect for application in Occult Rituals.
I can't speak for all of them, and would rather not speak of any of them. Mainly because of
popular misconception.

Some things that are good for Rituals, can be found in the woods, or even in your yard.
These I would like to think of as the ambassadors of Divine Entities.
Misidentification of these can be fatal.

I apologize for the vagueness, but there has already been one moderator, that has frowned
upon this by calling this "the poison path". Which kind of pisses me off a bit, but I just let it go.

Where may I find information about such plants?

They are Fungi, namely Amanita Muscaria, and Liberty Caps.
I haven't tried these yet, as I recently became interested because
of my Occult Practice, and they aren't ready for harvesting until late
summer or autumn. Although, the Amanita is legal and can be ordered online.

You could just google Psychedelic mushrooms for a complete list,
and to learn more about them.
