a proud pavine of Time. For I am no longer in the city accursed, where Time is
horsed on the white gelding Death, his spurs rusted with blood...

Oh lord, that Green Fairy is no joke. My best friend and I used to spend evenings making art and drinking absinthe smuggled from Prague. Of course it all ended when she drank too much one night and had a freaky hallucination of falling into some horrific Qliphothic realm. I was still mostly sober and it took hours to pull her out [rofl]

Ooh, Bohemian Absinth?
Love me some of that too. [thumbup]
I feel I should make one of those memes... what friends think I do, what members think I do, what society thinks I do and what I actually do...
Especially considering I was apparently hexing, stealing psychic weapons and oppressing someone from the internet generally and here was me, actually enjoying a wee refreshment with the green goddess and catching up on my Crowley literature. How very louche of me, lol. [greensmile]

Yes, I LOVE that stuff although I know some people don't see it as "real" absinthe. It did the trick anyway! It was illegal where we lived so we were stuck getting bootleg bottles from friends who traveled for work. And the perception vs. reality thing is always interesting. Internally she was trapped in an evil realm after taking the wrong tunnel during a pathworking, but externally she was just sitting on the kitchen floor screaming for a few hours [crazy]Nahemah wrote:Ooh, Bohemian Absinth?

It never ceases to amuse me when people accuse one of us (usually apropos of nothing) of throwing psychic attacks over the internet. Seems like more than a bit of hubris, eh? Like we have no lives of our own and nothing more pressing to devote our time and ritual energy toward than hexing random strangers and trolls [tongue]
And that sounds like a lovely evening!

From what I've observed, this would be totally out of character for either one of you.
And hopefully I'm not appearing gullible for the sake of flattery.

Thank you! I almost find it insulting, like...do we really seem that petty?
