Flu shots only protect you from certain types of flu, not all of them. It's a constantly evolving virus. Your girlfriend shouldn't expect to be protected from all types of flu, thanks to one flu shot.
I know there are a whole gamut of things that can make you ill, but she got a shot and I didn't, and she got sick.
Anyways, I don't trust strangers injecting things into my body.
Like you said too, these microorganisms are always mutating, hopefully something really dangerous doesn't become airborne. Or we get some mutated Superbug. Doctors also overused antibiotics, which doesnt help the situation.
Anyways Daud, your's was a good post. Thank you,
And peace Brother!

The biggest misconception about the flue shot is the belief that getting your flu shot will prevent you from being sick.
In all actuality it does make you sick to some degree and is intended to do so as it is introducing a small amount of the flu into your body, allowing your body to learn to fight the virus and create antibodies for it, which prevents you and lessens the risk of you becoming extremely sick from the strain.
Basically, it's putting the small bit of the virus in you to make antibodies, and some people get sick from it, others not, but it's to prevent you from getting the worse of the sickness.
As for the antibiotics, it's more the fault of the people taking them than the doctors prescribing them, as alot of people stop taking them too early as they feel they don't need it anymore because they feel better, allowing some of the sickness/bacteria/virus to survive it and mutate with a higher chance of immunity to the antibiotic. Basically, people forget that if you get prescribed antibiotics for three weeks and you get better in one, then you still need to take your antibiotics for the last two weeks until you run out. I'm not saying it's the case for everything, sometimes doctors do seem to prescribe them for every cut or sore, but it's still not fully their fault.
Now, for the OT, if your third eye was already awakened once, and then blocked off, there would be a build up, it would try to manifest in different ways, often causing problems, health issues, and other nuisances. You talked about how your mind seemed to dull out, but really, there should be other issues that have been cropping up as a major etheric center had been messed with.
Also, the third eye cannot be lost or removed, language is very important here as to remove it would cause catastrophic effects upon you and the integrity of your energetic body in ways that cannot be fully predicted... however the chakra points it can be injured and blocked, in which case meditation and practices aimed towards repair and opening the third eye and other chakra points can be of great help to you. Perhaps finding someone whom lives by you who is a practitioner or has a sense of these things that can not only help guide you through it, but can also give a bit of a coaxing push to your chakra points can be of help.
Now, for this misconception of cutting the connection between your right and left brain hemispheres... the complexity of the brain would not have allowed him to be able to do so, or even if he did, the brain would have either A)repaired itself by reasserting the neural pathways and/or built new synapses through the connective tissues that would still be physically there, or B)compensated in such a way that it would have used other parts of the brain to take up the tasks that the cut off parts would have been responsible for. It should also be mentioned that both sides of the brain take part in the tasks that, traditionally, have been believed that only one side or the other is responsible for.
Honestly though, if your mind is feeling slow, you need to stimulate it, stimulate your body, make sure you are eating the proper amount and the proper things, and start doing some mental exercises, meditations, and other such things.
