Honey ritual

I burned some candles on a jar of honey with some objects from family members... the ritual seemed to work. Now... do I need to bury the jar or just clean it and discard the objects? What would you recommend? Thanks.

Well, OK... no need to answer this one... I think I already got my lesson: thank you (all, I believe I didn't forget thanking anybody...if so, sorry (like the Greeks kept a shrine for the Unknown God) ). Need to peel a banana now, PM if you see it fit.

I will confide this jar to a tree that helped me in the past... now I need to know how to please a tree... maybe some incense, cookies and a sweet liquor.

In Scandinavia lore the 'vättar' that lives underneath the trees hates water. They want milk or beer.
Up here in the north we usually leave a bowl of oatmeal.

Going back further back in time, bones and blood where used. Now this sounds pretty nasty, but actually, modern ecological gardeners use dried blood and crushed bones (from chicken and such) to fertilize their garden and trees absolutely love that stuff because it has tons of nutrients in it.

If you know what species the tree is, Do a google search "best manure for ....". What makes the tree grow the best, has to be the best gift you can give.

Very sensible advice. I admire the Nordic lore, but I'll try to find a substitute for the blood... maybe something red + manure. I'll see what I can find ;-)
