Ok I've been studying this a lot and have a firmer grasp on it now, but I still have questions.

First, it looks like laying numbers over the alphabet doesn't really work to the strict types who just bawled me out on another msg board, ie: English letters should be mapped to their letter equivalent not their number equivalent right? Like the English G should be 3 because Gimel is the 3rd letter in Hebrew, not 7 because it's the 7th letter in the English alphabet https://imgur.com/gallery/kikcX

Is that right?

In that case, wtf would I do with the letter c for example? Doesn't look like there is a Hebrew equivalent.

Next, only certain numbers map directly to characters. Others map to combinations of characters. For example no character is 13. Yod (10,i,y) and gimel (3,g,gh) together is 13. Would I then therefore only ever draw a sigil over the 13 square on a kamea if the word has YG, YGH, IG, or IGH (English) or yod-gimel (Hebrew) in it? Like the IG in "figure"?

Thanks for your patience, and I know rules are meant to be broken in chaos magick, I'm just trying to understand them for stricter ideologies.

It depends on what kind of gematria you are using. If you are using hebrew than you use the hebrew order, if you are using english you use the english order. I would recommend looking into "english Kabbalah".

It depends on what kind of gematria you are using. If you are using hebrew than you use the hebrew order, if you are using english you use the english order. I would recommend looking into "english Kabbalah".

Good read, the spare style is the one I use in my personal practice. I actually built a tool for manipulating fonts for that method first and only added magic squares later by request.
