Re: Ancient Astronaut Theory
As I said the existence of humans as a "intelligent species" possessing a civilization is in the history of the universe as long as a mere blink of an eye, a very short one to be precise. Seeing that time scale of planets the size and type of earth forming since the earliest generation of...

Re: Web browser
I like Chrome. Firefox used to be good, but they did something to it in one of the updates, and now it runs slower than IE. If I knew more about computers I'd probably switch to a Linux platform and run Ubuntu. Give Pale Moon a shot. Someone recommended it to me and I've been disappointed. It's a f...

Re: Web browser
I use Pale Moon now. I don't trust Google Chrome. From what I heard, they don't mind mining your private data and selling them to advertisers. I feel safer using Pale Moon, and it give decent performance on Windows 7.

Ancient Astronaut Theory
Hi, What do you think of this theory? Do you believe that ancient aliens visited the Earth in the remote past? Do you think they helped us shaped our civilizations and acquire invaluable knowledge for the advancement of our specy? I am curious to your views on this. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anc...

Re: How do you deal With the occult and public life?
Isn't it kinda a given that you'd not be able to be very open about something occult? I mean, that's literally what makes them occult since it means "hidden". But, I'm sure most of you know that. Well, the things we are researching and experimenting with are 'occult', in the sens that the...

How do you deal With the occult and public life?
Hi, This is something I always found difficult to deal with, because I need to hide my passion of the occult in public and even to my family. People are just not receptive to this kind of ideas. I could be labelled a devil worshipper or worst: a nutjob. My boss at the pizza place I work is a devout ...

Re: Did God became the Universe?
If you go to the university and sign up for theology, then yes, it will be christian. I have no doubt that in some Western countries where christianity is the dominant faith, 'theology' courses will only be concerned about that specific religion but the term 'theology' can be applied more broadly t...

Re: Did God became the Universe?
I dont think everything poped out from nothing becouse once there is "nothing" litterally there cant be something anymore. I don't either though I find it very hard to picture ''something'' outside space and time. That is mind boggling to say the least. But assuming there was ''something'...

Re: Did God became the Universe?
If you write god in a thread about theology, I'm going to assume that you are talking about the christian god. Otherwise post it somewhere else and us a a different word. You're defining 'theology' in the christian sens of the word, but this section is about general theology, which is the systemati...

Re: Did God became the Universe?
I politely respect your views but I don't base my spiritual/metaphysical beliefs on the bible, sorry.Desecrated wrote:No, the bible clearly says that god created the universe and then throughout the bible he interacts with it and the humans living in his creation.

Did God became the Universe?
Hi, Did God became the Universe? I mean think about it for a second, what if an Intelligence decided to realize Him/Her/Itself, and to take a material form by becoming the Universe? What is this Intelligence is made aware of itself through us, that we are all part of the Universal counsciousness? I ...

Thanks a lot guys! And Desecrated you provided some very good exemple. Here's another one: Greg Kaminksy, Occultist and scholar, also host of the Occult Of Personality podcast. http://i.ytimg.com/vi/g3ba5cmie5A/hqdefault.jpg All things considered, I don't think there is any more Occultists wearing g...

Re: Occultists wearing glasses
Hi, Thanks for your reply, I am surprised to see how few occultists actually wore glasses in their life time. Was there some kind of trick or ritual we don't know? It's true that there wasn't TV and computers in the 1800's and early 1900's which can contribute to eyes issues but even so, they were r...

Occultists wearing glasses
Hi, A friend of mine told me that Occultists tend to end up wearing glasses more often than other people since they read a lot of books and are more 'nerdy' which contribute to develop eyes issues like myopia ect. I am curious to find out if this is actually true. How many of you actually wear glass...

Re: Astral Projection - Definitive Method?
Hi, I am more of a lucid dreamer, I don't think my cousciousness ever leaved my body except in some dream dimensions perhaps while I was asleep so I can't be of much help on this topic. Still, you may want to take a look at some of Robert A. Monroe's works on Astral projection. This guy really maste...

If I may, I can say that you're not content with development of your life circumstance, are you? I wonder because I see that you're trying to use this experience as a shield of some sorts, you're putting on a defensive behaviour. I guess I am in period of my life where I am 'looking back' perhaps a...

Thank you guys for your replies. It's very appreciated. I guess I am trying to relate to people with a similar path than me. High School Dropout Occultists
Hi, I have never been very good at school and had some drug issues in the past and all that lead me to drop out of high school at 16. I am now 27 and I work at pizza place for minimum wages but I am now free from any addiction, including tobbaco. ;) . I am currently considering returning to complete...
