i am perfectly capable of taking another human life. I just choose not to for several reasons:
a. I wouldn't be able to cover it up and, in the end, would get caught (I panic under such conditions and would be sloppy.)
b. being a humanist, I find murder to be imorral.
c. Taint so nice.
d. Think about how many millenia it took to create such a living bundle of carbon. It would be a shame to waste that.
e. I think because of my religion/ political viewpoints/ musical interests, i would be doing all fellow people who agree with me on the previously mentioned points a disfavor to spread bad name to all of them.
f. To go out in such a way would dishonor me, and honor is pride, and pride is one's mental and spiritual wellbeing; the most focussed o=upon point of satanism.
I'm quite philosophical today...

The term culling, if I'm not mistaken, normally refers to the selective slaughter of animals, to preserve the integrity of the herd etc...and is not ordinarily a term associated to "murder". Yet I see it being used synonymously here. I am not very familiar with ONA's teachings. Is it their premise that murder itself is somehow a proper Satanic practise, or has this maybe been taken in the wrong way?
Murder is murder folks...there's nothing uniquely Satanic about it and using Satanism to justify it would be no better than using Xianity or any other crap to justify it...so I'd like some clarification on this from someone who actually knows, and no, I'm not going to read through tons of ONA propoganda to sort it out for myself since right now I really have neither the time or the inclination.
If you simply want to experience killing people as a part of your path, there are plenty of ways to go about this...you can become a member of a gang, join the army, become a cop, all kinds of ways to position yourself so that the odds of being forced to kill a human being will be a near certainty. Murder in itself is just that and nothing more, the senseless, pointless, killing of another human being...

[naturally with the understanding that it is all merely food for thought, a catalyst for unorthodoxed philosophy]
Also...
If murder == pointless
then murder != satanism
elseif murder == purpose
then murder = culling, assassination, etc.
satanism = purpose
[it's been awhile since I have attempted any programming, but I think the jist is there]
Thankfully you have me to do that. ;·) I'm not real anxious at this exact moment, but in the near future I'll try to accumulate some of the various ONA material concerning the topic.m1thr0s wrote:The term culling, if I'm not mistaken, normally refers to the selective slaughter of animals, to preserve the integrity of the herd etc...and is not ordinarily a term associated to "murder". That being said... some conflict arises when stood next to this:m1thr0s wrote:...there's nothing uniquely Satanic about it...Murder in itself is just that and nothing more, the senseless, pointless, killing of another human being...
The latter succeeds in forming an equation out of the former, or perhaps a section of programming code at any rate:m1thr0s wrote:There is that which must be destroyed without pity, without exception. Consider the merits of your targets before you launch into these treacherous waters. That you must strike violently and unilaterally goes without saying. Sinasbin - I think I see the problem here. I have been discussing the way of the warrior. You are apparently enamored with simple thuggery. I should have detected it sooner but a number of things you have said seemed to hint at an abiding respect for discretion, which now appears to have vanished from your "computations" altogether, which, curiously enough, you have stated exactly ass-backwards. The "contradiction you have alluded to does not exist if you understand the difference between attack as a matter of necessity and attack as a matter of simple self-indulgence. This is a disappointing turn of things in my opinion but there is nothing especially surprising about it I suppose...
If you take a human life that is no threat to your own, if your "target" has no identifiable strategic significance other than bolstering your deluded sense of self-importance, then you have run against the laws of men, and ultimately the laws of nature. You have "murdered" and you will be targeted by men (at least) as the failed specimen of humanity that you have become. You may call them "apes" if that makes you feel somehow superior, but those apes will finally put an end to your little pretense out of pure and plain necessity. And in the end no one will really give a sh*t why you did it...they will only care that you were caught and punished for your crime. How exactly does any of this morbid little scenario advance the cause or course of Satanism?
Leaving legalities completely out of the equation, which we can't really do in reality, what is it that you imagine can be obtained from the act of murdering to begin with? For a mobster, it really all boils down to money and at least they know who and what they are about. What are you about? Where's the profit in this kind of behavior? You remind me of a number of people I have known that somehow managed to get themselves all wrapped up in some romantic fantasy-world projection of criminality in general. What happens when you finally kill somebody and nothing really happens...a momentary rush of adrenolin...the fleeting swoon of having trashed the borders of sanity etc...then nothing...nothing really at all. What happens if your "projection" turns out to be a total crock of sh*t? Aren't you then essentially signed, sealed and delivered? Another baffoon crossed over due to too much junk food, beer and television?
Try to understand, I'm actually NOT prejudging anything here. I am genuinely curious how anybody could arrive at such a premise. Admittedly, for myself, it's just a fantastic waste of good intelligence...

Hi, this is a great discussion!
there are many ways to destroy soomeone, not necessarily with your own hands.
As of yet, I do not think that there is one person in this century who was put on trial or jailed for acts of destructive Magick. It's something that can not be prooven. Not to say it hasnt happened yet.

To kill with magick would at least seem to implicate the involvement of will, and therefor universal law, in some sense or another. And within the ranks of black magickal arts it is a known capacity, though there are differing theories as to its practical applications. Some take it as a form of sympathetic magick, others view it mainly as a kind of mass-hypnosis and so forth. I have only really ever seen it accomplished in retaliation to some attack, so I am skeptical that it would ever become a staple in the LHP arsenal of offensive weaponries, however intriguing.
But there are other hints of similar powers in mystical and tantric texts that I am even more convinced might have some actual bearing in things. Shiva, for instance was said to possess the power of the "death-glance", as a function of his third eye etc which even he was not altogether able to control at times, it being a kind of reflex-action, etc...There are other types of powers of this sort attributed to various gods for the most part. I always wonder that anything assigned to the gods is not ultimately the inheritance of humankind as well, save only that we have yet to properly open the packages that contain them...
Microwave diplomacy, I could hang with that...

Uncle m1thr0s,
Please save this thread and continue discussing the ways of the warrier - killing a god and leaving your left hand empty. That sounded very. very interesting.
For the record, my grisly past includes fishing and occasionally pulling the wings from small insects but that's my limit. It's almost too grim to bear as it is...

Uncle m1thr0s...lol...never been called that before...
I made a tactical error in this thread I don't make too often...I mistook the title of this topic for the topic itself, which it obviously is not...
When we speak of the "necessary law of action" we are speaking the language of dharma (destiny) and karma (action) and how the two interact and reflect upon each other, etc...violence based upon necessity is violence spent in the cause of dharma and is guided by principles of "right thinking" and "right action" etc in the performance of its tasks. It is not rooted in the want to acquire some grandiose experience but the will to secure some particle of perfection. It needn't take the form of bloodshed at all in many cases...but can also manifest as some creative or intellectual victory against human limitation, against restriction and/or ignorance etc...
This topic appears to be about none of these things though its title might seem to imply them...

It's amazing what direction these threads end up taking.
What you were talking about is what you were talking about, and what I am talking about is what I am talking about. But, as it so happens, our medium for communication lies in the written word, and as it so happens, something almost always ends up misconstrued.
There is no problem here. This place is grounds for discussion, and being such you are entitled to your fanciful visions of destroying ancient and powerful archaic ideologies/entities. Just as I am entitled to my... equations. Which, in this case, ends up being one of the items misconstrued. Though I do appreciate your declaration of my so-called infatuation with 'simple thuggery' [being as form of gaining practical experience], this does not confuse and anger me so much as the fact that you appear to really believe that such a concept was my sole motivation for starting this discussion.
It feels like you are upset with my having pitted two quotes 'against' you in some fashion. But this was not the reaction from you I had intended. I was building upon two ideas in which you had mentioned. And in building upon those ideas, I came up with said equation. Perhaps my fault for causing misunderstanding lies in the fact that I chose to write the equation in a computer-esque type programming language. But for the record, I shall simplify.
It is commonly understood that murder is the pointless taking of another human life [if murder == pointless]. This is now taken into consideration. To say all murder is pointless is to say exactly that: all murder is pointless. Often times such 'action' is spurred by passion and the heat of the moment, and sometimes it is even premeditated. This is still to call it pointless, as even those who premeditate the end of their victim's lives suffer the fate of pointlessness as they do not know themselves and therefore truly do not know what they want or need.
Therefore, murder != satanism. Murder does not equal Satanism, as Satanism operates from a base of Willful intent, and a most potent awareness of the individual Self and its Destiny at hand. Such purpose, it seems, from a genuine Satanic standpoint must sometimes [often it appears a rarity] be met with extreme action, this action is known to be taking another human life. Some refer to it as culling, but naturally, in this grand language of ours, it is not merely the only term attributed to such definition. Regardless, the taking of a human life, based on a purpose known to an individual with a firm grip on his Destiny, suddenly finds new meaning when placed in the context of genuine Satanism [if murder == purpose, then murder = culling] (genuine Satanism also having the equivalence of the warrior philosophy).
The remaining 'line of code' is obviously a testament to the previous in that it declares Satanism of operating from a base of purpose and intent, as opposed to the dregs and their pointless, day-to-day existence [satanism = purpose]. Of their senseless killing for utterly inane reasons.
---
I felt it was necessary to explain my 'coding' as this appeared to be the base for confusion. As for all those replies given, I believe most of it can be contrived as assumption. Make no mistake, I think of Satanism as possessing no other way than that of the warrior. The way of precise, deliberate action. Constant living challenge. And a genuine impeccability in all actions one undertakes.
These are my thoughts concerning Satanism as only I have just become aware of it. Satanism in this case being the traditional kind. True, genuine Satanism. As I have said before I consider myself a neophyte and nothing more. All this is mere speculation based on my readings so far.
I trust my defense was not too rude? ...
Enjoy the party... please, continue to enjoy the party.

Culling <- A pre-meditated act
Morality <- If you could or not
Maybe it should have been;
Could you murder someone? <-- title
Morality <- If you could or not and under what circumstances
The Necessary Law of Action <- proposed reasoning for legitimised murder

That would mean I would have to be regretful or remorseful over my decisions to date.evilsock wrote:How about this?

It seems that at the heart of this discussion is the question of whether one can take any willful action and do so without the influence or interference of cultural programming. "Murder" is just one end of the moralistic spectrum. The question could have been eating meat and wearing leather or driving internal combustion vehicles...it seems to boil down to the same thing: can you act on your will and do so without regret or remorse? And if you can do so, what steps have you taken to bring about this freedom?

Not quite worthless and certainly not to pour more confusion on this thread. Re-read your initial post and consider why I posted my 'resolution' - thank you. Let's not fall out about it, just looks like there's a degree of clarification required to 'right' this thread.Your resolutions are worthless, and seek only to cause more useless conflict.

Sinasbin - yes, your equation notation was unclear. There does not exist a keyboard symbol for "does not equal" and I am unaccustomed to "!=" used in that capacity. Possibly in future some little code-key might be in order...I'm sure that is why it struck me as "ass-backwards"...
I am sorry you feel that the notion of tackling opposing archetypes is "fanciful" but since there has already been a certain amount of misunderstanding on both sides of the aisle, I won't belabor it...you are a "neophyte" as you have said and I have been at this stuff for over 30 years now. Time may not make masters of us all but it certainly broadens one's sense of reality I think, otherwise, why bother...
I think this has been a useful thread and you hold your own well so I am likely to continue watching it...we don't have to agree on everything, obviously, but I do agree that words themselves may have gotten in the way a bit here...
edit: I understand that unilaterally classifying murder as "pointless" may have its problems, due to all the convoluted ways in which it might occur. I am particularly addressing the Charlie-Manson style of murder in this discussion I think, since it seems to be a good example of culling-gone-wrong...in my opinion at least...Sharon Tate was a fine actress and we will never know what kind of person her baby might have been...We also can't regard ole Charlie as much of a Satanist come to think of it...his motly crew all thought he was Jesus...
"Presencing the dark" is a great soundbite...it's got a real nice ring to it...but one can presence the dark by being advanced and strong in its principles and properties much better than by taking out after any convenient target of your personal disliking...Do you really think that scares anybody? They love that sh*t...it gives 'em a great excuse to shoot bullets at you, and they've got a lot more guns than you do...If you're gonna play the militant, better get used to thinking these things through...you wouldn't be the first upshot anarchist to be impaled on his own short-sightedness, and you won't be the last...
Look, you know, I don't challenge the passion underscoring these sentiments, but survival is a tricky dance when you're seriously outnumbered...you gotta play it smart or don't play it at all...and that's what really scares 'em you know...the ones that play it smart...cuz they gain real ground...and they're gaining a little more each day...

edit: I understand that unilaterally classifying murder as "pointless" may have its problems, due to all the convoluted ways in which it might occur.
I don't question that there may be vast numbers of people who deserve to be removed...I question anyone's certain ability to judge another's actual right to live or die based solely upon their personal philosophy. I question their right to make that call simply on the basis of being hostile towards others. If you are so superior to these others, then show us the proof...what have you accomplished that we should deem you fit to judge between the worthy and the unworthy? If you abhor the "dross", rise above them in some way...otherwise you are really just some punk with an axe to grind against anything at random. Satanism isn't just some social club for malcontents and it's really NOT about changing "society" anyway! It's about self-liberation, self-redemption, self-deification et al...where did this idea creep in that Satanism was some sort of political movement?whos discussing simple thuggery? were not talking about killing for the thrill of killing, were talking about presencing the dark, the truely sinister. Lets call it Real Satanism. You see from a satanic perspective there are vast numbers of individuals who deserve to be removed, those individuals who take our species a step back rather than forward ie devolution. Dross

I'm curious about the method of exactly how you would "kill" an archetype. Not to sound as if I don't believe it can be done, I simply don't understand how it could given the method in which they operate.
My main issue here is that an archetype itself cannot be known entirely to the individual, we can only recognize its manifestion in how we relate to the world and other people (IE synchronicity). On top of that issue, the range of possible manifestations of a given archetype are not pulled from some invisible aether in the sky, they depend on the psychology and experience of the individual. By destroying an avenue of its manifestion it will only create an inbalance than will necessarily be corrected in the way that a volcano or an earthquake releive pressure from under the surface of the Earth.
Another issue is that I think what you call the destruction of an archetype may simply be twisting an archetype against itself, so to speak. For example, to attempt to kill the Anima archetype (the male will to power) is simply applying Animistic libido towards the will to power in the end.
Maybe I misunderstood you, but I think it's more useful to bring these archetypes into the sphere of awareness and use them to your full advantage than to try to wipe them out. The key there is to not let them use you to their advantage, as you are never their best interest.

There are a lot of variables to this T~Goethe and it should also be said we are dealing in a kind of warrior's lingo here, so there are aspects of tongue-in-cheek at points, yet the matter is deadly serious nevertheless...
You have perhaps heard the saying, If you meet the Buddha along the road - Kill him? On one side of this we have the idea that the Buddha is not a man etc, but on the other side we have the notion that nothing truly Infinite and Vital can ever really be killed...therefor strike hard and low...master, etc... In other words, we have a principle of purificaation at work here...One is free to slay the gods precisely because the gods cannot be slain...that is...none of their pure qualities can actually be destroyed. Nevertheless, things acquire debris in this world and much of it is potentially hazardous to your health... The example of YHVH is a good example of this...a prime example really. One can hardly get any good mileage from that formula without having completely and entirely consumed it by fire...the hotter the better...
Consider the consequence of chakras out of sync to begin to get a bead on this...archetypes left to collect grime become potential portals for all kinds of mischief. The saying "Inflame thyself in prayer" is another way of hinting at this same solution, though in this case we are dealing more in the manner of an all-out banishing procedure...

The saying "Inflame thyself in prayer" is another way of hinting at this same kind of solution, though in this case we are dealing more in the manner of an all-out banishing procedure...The process itself will vary somewhat but fundamentally consists of calling the archetype forward and blasting it to splinters, or "vaporizing" it magickally...On the one side we have a kind of catharsis at play here...a rather gestaltish sort of self-help psychology, but on the other we are dealing in energy itself and are interested in achieving a well honed engine which has at its very essence a physical "toughness" suitable to all manner of abuses...so we smash it down and whatever returns, necessarily returns intact...if it does NOT return (as sometimes happens), we may assume we had no need of it...
Now there are layers to this mystery since certain aggregates are much more than simple bookmarks. They don't only perform poorly left unattended but do in fact grievously mislead and undermine us...to the best of my thinking this is primarily because they represent works in progress that have not been properly completed...thus we have half truths masquerading as whole ones behind which lie vital links to our greater understandings...understanding of the Body of Light for instance, or the so-called Anatomy of the Body of God etc...understand that so long as these are left as-is, we cannot access the greater truths their shadow-parts conceal...again the solution is an academic one...slay the shell and whatever will return, will return revitalized and pure...not altogether whole at once...but cleaner and more...well...cooperative...
So King Unas can slay his gods and have them too and he knows this...he is no one's fool...the power to Unite an army is inherently a martial operation. He has pulled this page from Bez and Set and Gnu and all the ancient ones underscoring the entire Pantheon...with perhaps particular reference to Ptah in my opinion, whose name itself slays fast and hard...
This is only the outline of a practise...the particulars of which still remain to be combed over...but not here...I only go this far into it as several have asked about it now and I did shoot my mouth off about it afterall so I owe perhaps some approximated explanation...
For those who cannot imagine what magick has to do with anything, I can only lay back and laugh...never mind...nothing at all...go back to sleep or whatever...
"Nuke 'em all - it's the only way to be sure..." HOW this may be accomplished is a much longer conversation that cannot easily be breeched in casual conversation...but I can say at least that one's weaponry needs to be very powerful indeed since it must inherently outrank all other classes of archetypes...it takes awhile to explain how this can be convincingly achieved...

I should probably say in passing that this kind of operation is probably not well suited to everyone's needs exactly...it's paradoxical in that it urgently needs to include all things, all peoples, all forms etc but may not ever be taken up by one in a million people...at least not to any great extent. I believe that one sort of hits upon this strategy primarily from necessity and again this business of Unity is central to its theme...the idea of a unified army in particular...this is War Room stuff...and not everyone will have immediate need of it. I fell into it as a consequence of my own peculiar life and my work in Abrahadabra which led me to investigate at length the martial end of godhead...I haven't taught this stuff and haven't spoken of it much yet it baffles me sometimes that there isn't more written about it...it may simply be the case that without some conscious principle of unity to be tested, this kind of operation just doesn't seem to be required, yet, what are we doing magickally if not just that?

hey; there are as many opinions of this type of idea as there are satanists, and guess what, your'e all right to some extent..
M1thr0s, I went thru something similar to what you are describing, in the "neccesary law of action thread....I had a flash of inspiration a few months ago, to kill my HGA holy guardian angel. I did not act on it, but I did spend much time meditating on why and how this could be done. I reaised that if Im going to enter into pure thought about satanisim, any notion or thought of a HGA or any type of angelic being would only serve to drain my energy and attempt to change my will just because of it's believed existence.
That's when I realised and started to think about the saying that "there is no god but myself" .. This does not mean that I feel I am a god, but that I have the free will to decide what I will believe in, my true will or that of an external god. Ihave been studying what I believe to be a form of what you are talking about, but in my own way.. It's a very long path but I believe that it will be worth it in the end because I must have this knowledge.
This is a necessary law in action because when a person liberates themselves from external gods, the "gods" are destroyed and become less and less of an influence over time anyway. Just my opinion.
But to have the ultimate choice to retain your free will and to Use the gods to your own purpose, now that's satanic...oops my paradigim is slipping again heh
Why do you think the xians are in a constant battle with sin, when we see it as part of our nature and fight against those who do not realise this (important) fact. It's an eternal (internal)battle since the gods were created.
You know why this is so hard to talk about, because we have no creed or doctrine, so there is noting to base it on. This does not mean that it does not exist. The truth is layered in between what soceiety has come to believe what is right. Finally getting to talk of these things without fear of outright religious retribution is actually advancing the forces of "satanisim" or "true will" whatever you call it.. thank god for the internet

Truer words were never spoken IMO. However, try and convince the general populus of that. We have our self-righteous belief that is very valid in a personal way. The xians have the same thing, only it's based on the "will" of an external god. In the end, the battlefied is the mind and we are fighting for the right to live the the purpose of our souls.Therefore, murder != satanism. Murder does not equal Satanism, as Satanism operates from a base of Willful intent, and a most potent awareness of the individual Self and its Destiny at hand.

But too much time has been diverted into this particular meandering already so I want just to return to my original point which is that the underlying principle of "culling" in its ORIGINAL sense of the term, ie, selective slaughter to strengthen the herd, is more immediately relevant and productive as an internal process than an external one. And really, I've been too damn apologetic about this whole thing I think. The truth here is that if you don't or won't get that, you have a lot to learn about magick and about Satanism. Anarchy begins at home.
m1thr0s
Actually, I don't think that is "just an opinion" in this case Venus666. This is a fairly fundamenal tenet of Satanic thought is it not? The I Ching refers to this as "hacking away the inessentials", the idea being that much of what we invest in psychologically makes us bloat with innefficient and distortional debris. This is just a way of getting tough with that, and again, of "unifying" or "consolidating" your strengths...the "gods", if indeed they should even be called that, have a job to do which is to rally in support of the whole and anybody or any thing not on board with that had better find a new living arrangement.This is a necessary law in action because when a person liberates themselves from external gods, the "gods" are destroyed and become less and less of an influence over time anyway. Just my opinion.
