I am listening to the BBC, they are discussing the recent change in beliefs, more people saying they are athiest. There has been a saying passed around in many forms for at least a few generations.
Now I can see the reason for saying such a thing, perhaps originally it was stated by a religion in support of itself however to me, I believe it is more stating you should not trust a person whom has no belief in an afterlife or belief in something higher which gives them incentive (for whatever reason) to "behave" and act decently. Better the devil you know?Never trust a man who believes in nothing/who does not believe in god.
What do you think? Given the way the world is today, would you be more likely to trust a stranger with beliefs over one without? (Or do you have no bias at all?)
